I think it is because her music isn't promoted very well, especially in the US. I went to the USA recently and I couldn't find her music on iTunes and her videos were blocked on youtube. It is so annoying, she is such an amazing, talented artist!

I agree with the promotion of her music.I had no clue who she was until a few weeks ago, but don't listen to 'mainstream' music because most of it is pure garbage (I'm more of a rock and metal guy). With that said, I love my female singers and 'sappy songs'. As far as being blocked on KZfaq, that could have something to do with your device. Canadian here with zero issues. Unbllocked content for America's hat - and that's one stylish hat! - usually translates to the same for our neighbors to the south. Also, she's not parading around half naked, steeped in drama, or sounds like someone putting a cat through a buffalo chopper (translation, she can sing, and sing on key). There's a big demand for adult contemporary, but you have to be here to get your name out there. I wish her all the best, and hope she tours North America so I can see her live.

Her voice is a precious gift and her personality is a real treasure. There are no decorations, dancers, special effects in this video... Only one pretty and successful woman with a thought-provoking story. And that's enough for a masterpiece. Delta's key message is so strong and touching that I couldn't hold back the tears. I admire such artists as Delta, who are beautiful inside and outside, who are so wise and intelligent and who are brave enough to be honest with others.

I used to listen to this song on repeat when we found out that my father had a kidney cancer and my mother a tumor in the thyroid gland and I was promoted at work. Everyone thought that I was lucky but no one knew that my world was collapsing. Never had a song been so powerfull .

Simple, society today isn't looking for meaning in music anymore.. it's sad really. Society wants songs about drama, politics and partying. Songs with real lyrics that aren't repeating the same thing over and over don't appeal to the masses anymore. This is a beautiful song, from an artist out of her time. I'm glad she's never given in and still sings from her heart.

@@vegasnative83 I could not agree more. Generally l am not a fan of today's music and it is clear Delta isn't trying to cheapen herself to sell music to make a quick buck. Some female artists almost have to dress up as prostitutes to get noticed which is sad in regards to what the music market wants.

You are right to some degree about partying. I see singers like Beyoncé who need to take most of their clothes off, and don't have the emotion of this wonderful singer. However I think people do still like beautiful ballads with meaningful lyrics. Adele is one such artist, although with a different voice. She delivers heartbreaking songs that we can all relate to, without dancing, smoke machines, or being mostly naked on stage. Yet she's huge in just about every country. Delta has a beautiful voice. Her first album is the best she ever recorded.

This song resembles the feeling I got years ago, watching YT clips of Delta playing all those strange casinos in the US, as if she was an unknown lounge singer. That US release of the Delta album was such an awful exercise...they tried to de-goddess her. Thankfully she's still amongst us and more spiritual than ever.

I know she should be on the level of Adele by now. I think it’s harder for Australian artist to get recognise if they’re not born in the USA/ Europe. In a good way it has kept her grounded and drama free. Her music is mostly about love and life. Not superficial things like Twerking/ Ass Shaking lol

Stacy Thomas She is well known in Australia the country of her birth and has a huge following from both young and old. She tried once to break into the American market they wanted her to change her style to appeal to the USA market. She told them to fuck off. Australians are both very liberal and conservative and Delta Goodrem in a skimpy outfit would just not do.

YT recommended this to me, I don't really know why, but this name sounded familiar (after a while I remembered I loved "Almost here" as a kid) so I decided to play it in the background. Wasn't really paying attention but then I heard 2:50 and was like "whaaat?! this is really good!", came back to the beginning, put it on full screen and... got hypnotised! What a beautiful human, what a rich voice, what an interesting song!
