I don't know the context of the song but I like to think that it would be the battle theme if you fight your counterpart depending on the route you take. Something like if you do the pacifist route you would fight with your weird route counterpart. But if you do the weird route you would be fighting with your counterpart from the pacifist route, although instead you appear on the left side you would appear on the right side, implying that the only enemy/villain it's YOU about *never forgetting* would be applied to the fact that the Kris of the pacifist route will never forget the trauma of seeing how the counterpart of us who control Kris are bad in the mirror and Kris understand that we are good. For the weird route I guess it would be about Kris never forgetting the fact that even though his world is over and hopeless at least he knows that somewhere, in another timeline his world and friends are okay
