Alright I did some digging last night and today, and I found more mentions and I think more unused dialog? Perhaps for another cafe/shop thing? I assumed it was connected to the cafe in the mansion, but no, it calls for assets and music not even in the files. I think this requires more research with like all the different language versions n such. Here's all the relating dialog I've frankensteined back together so far: ‘Show Runner… oh- oh right him!’ ‘Yeah he comes around here every once in a while, usually clenching a roughed up 100 dollar bill.’ ‘He usually asks for “coffee on the rocks” or “coffee on a stick”.’ ‘Frankly, they sound interesting, but he always accepts just normal coffee.’ ‘I worry for him sometimes, someone or something must have broken him.’ ‘He once came in with a nasty gash on his cheek and just told me “coffee soon”, but he always denies it ever happening’ ‘…’ ‘I don’t know who to believe, him or my memory, heh.’ Let me know what y'all think, this is interesting so far.

I like that some of the thing he said is accurate to the situation that he's in (unfound, inexistant, and nothing but some files in a game that never mentions anything about it) he's basically Spamton but he's trapped outside the game and only Kris has the key to see and interact with him

If this was actually real, I'd say this was never 'unused'. Actually, I think Toby would've WANTED us to find this.

Imagine if one of the future secret bosses winds up being a human lightner who went insane from being trapped in the dark world for a really long time

2:55 His appearance right here makes me think he's the discarded Vessel that somehow managed to take this form in an effort to get back into the game. When he says "It's my FAULT I'm . Alive", maybe that's talking about how, unlike Kris, he was meant to be a blank slate for the Player to project onto and control and be "given life" that way. Being the "Showrunner" could equate to being the playable character who moves the story forward.

I want to imagine Kris going back to reality like "Hey guys, another shifty shopkeeper who isn't there in the head asked me to run some errands for them which will likely result in another near-death experience."

This is really cool, I'd argue even more unnerving as Spamton because it feels even more like I'm hearing a real person whose at rock bottom talk, while also playing with the medium of a digital insanity. Great stuff.

A detail not a lot will notice Sometimes at the end of the sentence there's a " " It's a code symbol which basically marks the string end and passing to the next line You could also say it's the character your computer recognizes when you hit Enter The implications of that code character sometimes not being recognized as code but as bare string is that this place is broken down beyond just code

Early version of Spamton or Mike, one thing is certain, he's more aware of *PlayerName* rather than it being a *[HEART-SHAPED OBJECT]* Apparently he's also aware of being outside the game, was just skimming from that one comment

I think this character is meant to be your pawn that you made at the start of the game, he calls you by your name (or is supposed to at least but it's a bit janky) and tells you that you know he isn't meant to exist (also when he turns grey he has a more than earie similarity to the pawn, you know, all that no color and the alike) I actually believe that this character is meant to never show up on the regular game cause, well, he's not meant to exist. Overall, a pretty good fanmade idea.

I know it’s not real but I’m a theorist. interesting things: 1. “Read THE_ROOM, Player_Name” Because they talked straight to the player, it makes me think that the room name in the code meant something. 2. “CALL_HOME” All in caps like “room name” was. Three things can be gotten from this: it might be something else related to the code, the “call” has to do with Chapter 2’s focus on phones, or it’s related to how a program tries to “call” a variable to use it (the question mark meaning that this shopkeeper is in this place because their location’s variable couldn’t be called).

Man, even going into this video knowing it’s not real, I was seriously unnerved throughout the entire thing. I’m not usually spooked by this stuff, but something about the way this character moves and talks is super freaky. Probably doesn’t help that I’m watching this at night with no lights on lol. But still, excellent job!

I'd like to imagine that this guy wasn't completely nuts when he first got there, he went mad from everything being so bizarre and off-putting in his own personal hell. I also find it interesting how he breaks through his crazy speaking pattern, like he's gripping on to his last bit of sanity before it's gone, idk just a theory.

For people asking if this is false or real, it's not, the creator of the video said in one of the comments they coded this stuff themselves.

Here’s something interesting I found: In a Deltarune KZfaqr’s video (HalfBredChaos) they explored Spamton’s element, and found that it is element 6, or Cat. Now, during this video at 0:19, it says “TALKING! I love to Cat”

My one criticism of this is the sprite looks a bit too detailed to be convincing, but from just an artist standpoint it is very good

Spamton had friends but according to them he disappeared,and Spamton says: - "KRIS, i'm a [ HonestMan ]." - He says about trash,meaning he lives in the "Trash Zone". - He mentions a disk,probably the disk Kris gets from the robot in Queen's basement.His laugh animation is very similar to Spamton's,and he is also a Shopkeeper.Maybe he was supposed to be a popular singer instead of a business man too,but only Toby knows.

I like how he was in the game, but made a deal with possibly gaster, causing him to live outside the game, like gaster does, to never leave that space in a bunch of ones and zeros, and actively KNOWS nobody can reach him, doomed to eternally live in solitude forever

This could be just an unused version of spamton, you can hear the theme of deal gone wrong, and the dude acts kind of like spamton as well (also the music in the bg could be a placeholder so uh)

Based on the background music, this could have been the old Spamton, because I remember Toby Saying something along the lines of 'Beta testers didn't like looking at Spamton, thought he was creepy to look at' Some of the animations also seem to line up with Spamton a bit, but if it's and old Spamton design, I don't get why it was scrapped, because it's fully animated and everything

I’m gonna go on a wing and say this was a placeholder for Spamton. The fat blunt, the errors in text, placeholder text, glitchy background, big mouth, it all just looks like an unused spamton asset

In my opinion this characters diallog, background music, and design resemble Spamton a bit so it could possibly be a rejected version of spamton that accidentally got left in the files or maybe there was a reason he was left in.

I have a theory: he was involved in the making of the basement machine, in the game. Mainly because he talks about losing everything to " that damned disk", and mentioning something called a "heart machine"(since spamton neo wanted Kris's soul) and he looks similar to it with his jacket, hair, and face.

To be completely honest, the only thing that made me question this thing's truthfulness is the fact that this guy's sprites were actually well-drawn, unlike Burgerpants (Undertale), Roulx, Spamton and maybe even Swatch. It just feels weird for Toby Fox to actually spend effort on sprites for any characters that we can encounter in any shops or stuff like that

wow! it looks very real, as if it were something that toby fox himself did, at first I thought it was real with "being trapped in a corner" I would not be surprised if toby made a shop or character "discarded" for the fandom find and it turns out that a certain thing is made on purpose, I say the main thing in chapter 2 is the junk files or discarded as spamton so something like that would not look bad.
