Something clever that someone recently pointed out is that K. Round (which can also be pronounced as “Crowned”) attacks by jumping on you, because jumping over others’ pieces is how you win Checkers.

And, because it gets “kinged” at the end of the Great Board, it now has the ability to travel backwards and attack you, just like In Checkers. Bowing during the battle with K. Round makes the crown fall off, un-kinging it and taking its ability to jump away, making it harmless. It also grows bigger when kinged and shrinks when it loses its crown, which is pretty funny and self-explanatory.
