I just realized that his name is pronounced "rules card", as in the card that comes with a lot of decks that tells you the rules for playing poker and similar stuff. Everyone else is named after more useful pieces in card games or board games, but he's just that piece of junk that you toss out after opening a new deck of cards.

Honestly, Rouxls is one of the most underestimated characters in Deltarune, he has no idea how to make puzzles. But that card sure has a way to win many hearts

i remember listening to this so much during the first few months of last year's quarantine, since that's when i got into deltarune. i listened to this bop during online school, playing games, and so much more. and even though it was a year ago, i cant help but feel nostalgia. ah the sweet feeling of a calm tune in the middle of quarantine.

I’ve added this to my playlist of “anti-depressant”. Not like I’m depressed, but this is one of those songs that just makes me happy. I’m not sure why, but I just feel comfortable and content while listening to this. Thank you, Toby. You have made many lives better.

Fun fact: This is technically the main shop theme because its the only shop theme that plays for more than one shopkeeper.

It sucks how everyone is hating on Toby Fox for producing games slowly. Like...They're video games, They take a long time to make, and you're not gonna die without them. Think of how long it takes to design each room, and design each sprite, dialogue, and all his amazing jokes. Ontop of that he has to test the whole game out after he makes it, and if one thing is wrong he has to go back and fix it, THEN test it again to see how it works out. Poor Toby, I wish him the best of luck and I hope he takes a break if he needs to.

This music strongly reminds me of times i'd go shopping (mostly for clothes) in a bigger city, during the christmas holidays, often along with a long time friend, until it was 7pm and completely dark with shops' lights and christmas decorations illuminating the wet pavement. It gives me a very strong image of character on the right, in the foreground, outside on a cold evening past dark, having fun in snowflakes falling slowly, in a quiet main street deserted at that time of day! with the lights of shops reflecting on the pavement covered in melting snowflakes, with a few silhouettes of passers-by and a giant clock tower in strong perspective in the background. Despite being in art block, i'm getting the sudden urge to draw that on digital. As someone with aphantasia, it's one of the very few times i get something so incredibly close to a mental image; a few years ago i had listened to a lofi version and it gave me a general impression, and years later the original version looped keeps that same idea and makes it strikingly specific, and days later i still remember that same image just as vividly. Absolutely incredible. I can't remember the last time it happened other than with this music. Thank you Toby for this wonderful music, and thank you for this looped version.

My headcanon is that, before the Kingdoms of the Dark Fountains were cut-off from each other, Rouxls went on a trip with the King to the Queen's Palace and stumbled into the Color Cafe. He took a very stealthy recording ot the theme there for his own shop.

First played Chapter 1 back in 2019, and it took me by surprise just how much I ended up enjoying it tbh. Hoping I have just as much of a fun time with Chapter 2 very soon on Friday, and seeing more of this cool chad in it!!

I hope we see more of him in chapters 3 and 7 where he plays a comedic relief boss and come up with different themes depending on the chapter or location our heros move in. And maybe he would take a role as a shopkeeper again and sell you useful items healing or armor based
