You know the whole theme of having to maintain the balance of dark and light, fits very well within Japanese culture, most notably the yin and yang symbol.

@@leedlelel2373crap ton of east asian culture has roots in chinese culture since china's just... been around longer lol thats why youll see a lot of similarities between the cultures and societal values of china, korea and japan in general. they're also very unique because of centuries of their own development of course (looks at japanese feudalism) thus yin and yang is a concept that exists in. like all of these just not necessarily applied the same way and this applies to a lot of things. ex. lunar near year

Long ago…. 2 japanese people fell into a mysterious underworld…. They met a goat, known as “ラルセイ” who is a Onmyōdō. They made a team made of a Ono, a kris, and Onmyōdō to defeat the people of Yomi.

Okay so the japanese characters basically translate as Raruse/Rarusei (I'm not sure what that last symbol is for, I don't know much japanese) so Ralsei. Though why the Onmyõdõ as his species ? Onmyõdõ is a kind of magic, not a species. I mean I get that Ralsei is a mage, but isn't there a goat Yo-Kai somewhere that could fit better ? Susie is a Ono, that means axe. Still not a species ^^' I understand the thought process, but wouldn't having her be something like a Kaiju make more sense ? And Kris is a kris ? Couldn't they just be, you know, a human ? Okay Yomi is a world of Darkness so at least that fits.
