As a pawn show business, I don't think Les is well served by his son or daughter. I'd like to see him rent two buildings 15 miles away in two different directions and let each kid take 5% of inventory they have duplicates of (tv's, stereos, computers, games, jackets, cars, etc) and 2 employees (not Rich) plus one security to start their own businesses and see how they are doing after 1 year, 2, 3, 4 and 5 years. The original store needs the space on the floor and in the warehouse, and frankly needs the fresh air and better personalities. Thank you!

I buy and sell stuff and often get stuff from pawn shops. I've been in many of them and often check out a fishing reel or perhaps a power tool. I have NEVER been told not to check something out. If there are things the shop wants to control access to they put them behind the counter and will assist you with them.

They're for desperate people , if you're not desperate then you can hang on to your item ,shop it around and get full market value by selling to the end user who actually wants it. But desperate people can't wait,so they sell to a pawn shop for quick cash.

Life and business can be very simple at times. If you don't like the price you're being offered for your item, you politely try to get it increased. If that doesn't work, you leave and find another store a.k.a., a different buyer, to pay more, another pawn shop or an individual buyer. Why do these sellers seem to think the buyer owes them the price they want?

It so happens that the FLOOR is the lowest point at which the property can be at. And that is exactly where the property was relocated to - given its LOW value. Top shelf items have a higher commercial status. The dolls owner - pushing for a higher price did not work as well as he expected - and the Pawnshop owner pushed the value to its lowest point. The gravity of the situation was resolved So get the point

LOVE the guy with the Abe/Mary Todd photo. That picture was up on eBay for a while years ago where he wanted millions for it. Laughed our butts off. No likeness of the President and his wife at all other than the period setting and it being a contemporary plate. I always thought of that as a great example of delusion! No amount of visual evidence, however obvious to everyone else would convince him.

All the customers are NICE Wat you have failed to learn is that the word NICE is a Negative word as are so many words beginning with the letter N Not only in the English language - also in many other languages you do not understand nor speak For your homework make a list of as many Negative words beginning with the letter N in English and other languages You do not know this because you are not qualified to teach the English language and have only minimal English language skills. In the "Pawn Stars" segment of this "Hardcore Pawn" video, I noticed people objecting to Rick's offers. I have also seen online armchair quarterbacks (like me) accuse him of "lowballing" everyone that comes into the shop. If I offer to buy something from someone, they are free to negotiate with me or go somewhere else. To whine and moan about someone not offering to pay as much as you want for an item which you are trying to sell is absurdly puerile.
