Thunder Megazord/Gouraijin is a fantastically unique mecha in its own right, but that combo is one of the best ever made. The lion's legs and left arm-turned chest armor bulking out the torso, the guns stacked on top of guns, and the Mini-zord unifying both Megazords' color schemes as gold and navy blue take over completely... it's rare to see something so cohesive that it almost feels like an entire new bot. Most "are just a cluster of clashing shapes and colors. This is more than cool, it's just plain pretty.

There's something about beetle themed mecha and tokusatsu that really gets me going, and nobody does it better than Japan - Medabots, Beetleborgs, Kamen Rider Kabuto, the Gouraigers/Thunder Rangers, love them all. Managed to pick up the Bandai Japan version of this, just missing the minizord to make the second legendary combo

I have always loved the Thunder Megazord! I remember back in 2003 as a kid on a Friday, I was playing with my Storm Megazord fighting and a random monster action figure of mine but sadly one of the clips on the Lion Zord broke off during the fight. My dad returned the Storm Megazord to Argos for a band new one since we were still covered...On Friday night I had a dream that the Storm Megazord was losing badly to this monster of mine and the Thunder Megazord came in to save the day. On Saturday morning while watching Ninja Storm on Jetix, my dad look at the TV screen as the Thunder Megazord was on TV, I'm still playing with this monster action figure and my brand new Storm Megazord at this time. I told my dad about the dream saying that Megazord came to save my Storm Megazord from this monster of mine. He looked shocked but ask me have you got that Megazord? I said no as I don't think it's out in the UK yet. He then said to me are you sure? Hold on, Callum! I will be gone for about 10 mins, if your mum asks where I have gone, tell her I just had to pop to the store for milk. Around 20 mins later, my dad returns with a big Argos bag and I ask him what's in the Argos bag daddy? He tells me, Callum your dream is about to come true! Out from the Argos Bag comes the Deluxe Thunder Megazord. Little 7-year-old me was in shock to the point of tears came down my face. I could not believe what had just happened. Turns out when my dad went to return my old Storm Megazord on Friday, Argos added a few new pages to their book which had the Thunder Megazord in it. Argos told him to come back in the morning as they were getting the stock that day. Let's just say dreams really do come true! And my new ThunderStorm Megazord put that monster straight into the toy box.

The Thunder Megazord was my favorite from back then, I just loved how the Megazord would "exercise" the tank treads on the arms once it formed.

If you didn't notice, there are some hidden clip connectors that you have to flip out out of the crimson beetle zord for the thunder storm combination. This helps keeps the back heel of the storm megazord stay connected and more stable. The clip connectors are located inside the two halves of the beetle head. If you look closely at the crimson beetle zord's head inside at 10:02 thats where the clips are hidden.

God Ninja Storm was the first Power Rangers series I was into and Blake the Navy Ranger was my favourite and he still is to this day. I loved the Thunder Megazord but I preferred the fully combined forms because the Navy Beetlezord got to be the arms, I always loved the Beetle motif and the Beetlezord I even made my own one from Lego as I never owned the actual Megazord. I did get to play with all of the Ninja Storm Megazords and various other series as my friend owned like almost every Power Rangers Megazord. I had two figures of Blake, one was the fully articulated one with a Wing pack and weapon accessories and the other was the one that turned into a turtle.

These two zords there colors are so beautiful and go together so amazingly

I like how unique the color skin of this Zordon/Megazord is, instead of being mainly the color of the pilot rangers, this ones are mainly black with some color details to match the proper rangers, but it makes this interesting look almost being like a evil ranger Mecha (which it kinda was at the beginning) being a lot more uniform with the design and having a hard time knowing when each part when where, almost looking like a solid robot, and I actually quite dig that, is pretty unique for PR and it makes the Megazord pop out from others

Oh man, I can't believe I missed a Megazord made entirely out of GIANT BUGS. My kid self back in the '90s would have definitely been begging for that one as a birthday or Christmas present.

LOVED the Thunderstorm Megazord. Banging its fists together at the end of its transformation with the killer rock soundtrack made that combo one of my faves from that season. This is one combo i wish i had but sadly i only got the original Storm Megazord.

Also the toy collector's in japan really love this mecha and i can see why beetles are very popular there and the combined form looks cool so it's not surprising that it would get popular and the rangers the goraigers the thunder rangers counterparts portrayal was pretty good being more serious then the main group and you give them a cool mech and a bike and everyone loves them then so yeah neat

Yeahhh... definitely *not* Thunder Megazord. Not sure what they were thinking using the same name over again but the actual Thunder Megazord is just like what you broke down in the beginning of the video.

Just as you start going into Ninja Storm I finally got around to getting that Time Force two-pack from ToysRUs. Looking forward to more of this series and just wanted to say great work as always!

I just picked up the Japan version last week after having sold my Ninja Storm version back in 2008. Just such an amazing zord and season.

If the Thunder Megazords had a graduation book, the Ninja Storm one would be called "The Cooler Thunder Megazord"

I hate the Hurricanger line of toys. I got 3 Dolphins for my Japanese Sepuujin which are 2 Japanese version and 1 American as a back up after scouting for a long time finding loose parts. 2 of them disintegrated already with just normal use, and one is still in perfect condition for now cause I don't screw around with it and left it in my Seppujin box. Gold Plastic Syndrome seriously haunts this line. Even Gouraijin is known to break a lot that's why I haven't bought one after all these years.

I loved the Thunder rangers and zords but Ninja Storm was my last power rangers and I didn't get any of the zords. Disappointing now, I remember seeing Ninja Storm on the shelves every where.

I can tolerate removing diecast from other zords, but the beetle zord is the one they absolutely shouldn't have, cause the poor thing would just get crushed under that much weight. Even the jp version couldn't stand the test of time if you just display the combined form like that.

Simple, they reused thunder megazord because ninja storm had a weather and nature elements concept in the show.
