Even a patient with late stage dementia can recognize her grandson’s voice. That itself is so precious and beautiful.

This so sad. My aunt Vicky just died today cause of this. She helped to deliver me as well so I’m a bit sad. Hit me like a bullet man.

Powerful video emphasising a lot of common sense points around good end of life care - emphasis on dignity and respect, "human touch" and recognising people's wishes (& their family) - not just medical interventions for their own sake. A must for anyone working in end of life care.

❤❤ and a must for families. Dad is in the final stage and dignity is priority. End stage plans in place and limited intervention but pain free. I’m glad we did the forms years ago because now it’s so much harder

So sad the dementia led to death of my beloved mum on 16/8/2017 in kenya.Is it a sign science has failed.
