The beginning sounded more like it was trying to comfort you in your last moments before you meet Yamaxanadu and be judged whether you are tossed in hell or are able to join those in the cycle of reincarnation.

Always "Fate of the sixty years" guys, just the flute and the volume which look like a bit to Stairway to Heaven, if you listen very carefully, even in the arrange itself, the guitar rythmic is approximatly the same as the flute intro.
