I used to be ashamed that listened to Disney Channel during my childhood because now I'm more into heavy rock music. But looking back at the Disney music I listen to, I realized that, in part, I was always into the whole rock scene. The songs that I used to love all had guitars and drums foundations. Yeah, they were very popish and commercial but some even have mini-guitar solos. My favorite music videos were the ones that were at concert venues. I really admired Demi Lovato because of her edginess in her outfits. I still do, the leather jacket, skinny jeans, boots, mostly black, etc. I had a decent childhood, and I not really ashamed anymore .

I wish Demi would GET BACK to songs like this. I miss her rock songs.

I love this song. There's no other song I can remember so vividly the first time I heard it. I was in the car, my wife was driving, and this song comes on the radio. I was like, "Who is that?" If the radio announcer said, I missed it. Looked it up on the internet as soon as I got home. Listened to this song on repeat for hours afterwards. I can still play it on repeat and just do nothing else but listen--and watch, if playing the video, of course. I just love how Demi sings so softly right before the 2-minute mark, then at 2:05, she goes all quiet--and two seconds later she hits it so hard, it sends chills down my spine. Every time. I've been a Demi Lovato fan ever since. I'm sad when she goes through the tough times, and proud when she pulls through, coming back strong.

Honestly, who can sing like that? Ridiculous. I don't think anyone realizes how INCREDIBLY tough of a song this is to sing. She gave vocal ability an entirely new meaning with this song. Ariana Grande would DROWN and suffocate trying to sing a song of this calibre. The ONLY person that could've sang this song this way is the only person who did...DEMI LOVATO. Honestly, by far the GREATEST voice to ever emerge from Disney. This song alone is proof of that.

Watching this after Cool For The Summer, not a good idea tbh becuase I really miss these days, even though she was on Disney and wasn't able to release those songs with darker lyrics. She used to be amazing back then, I remember I used to listen to Don't Forget and Here We Go Again everyday. I still support her, and I did with Unbroken and DEMI, but lately her music got too pop and well, Cool For The Summer isn't that deep, you know... I hope the new album won't dissapoint and have good songs with good meanings as well, not only "let's have some fun and fuck in Summer"
