when someone can sing live, he/she is a true singer. I literally hate people who lipsync. I've never listened demi lovato before, first and last time was when I watched camp rock, lmao but I really have respect for her now. you can see that she is singing her heart out.

That's not their job, actually. The mixer has to decide the volume of different tracks in relation to others.

Some comments here don't know why the back-up singers' mics are loud, it's bcs this is a hard song and it's their job to make up the sound if ever Demi will fail to hit a note. And Demi knows it, that's why when she knows that the back up singers could take the lyrics off, she takes a breath and gets ready for the next lines she will sing. To short this up, this is a very hard song to sing, and not all the time we expect singers to sing perfectly, that's why they need the back up singers to be loud enough especially for the hardest part to shade some errors IF EVER it would happen.

CrazyMofos66 i love demi. but yea, in this preformce she made lots of mistakes. she can sing, but she is not one of the singers that can jump around and sing at the same time without lip-singing like christina aguilera. its hard to do that and she need to get air, when she walk or run around the stage its hard to control your voice. if she just sit down and sing, she is awesome. demi has great vocals. she is not "special" because she got off key while singing live - most of the singers who realy sing while they preform cant do that. for example, at allen show demi preform the song skyscraper that wanna make you cry, and also she sang live on the xfactor the song neon lights, and it was.... not very good....she can do much better, she did and she will do. I LOVE HER

T@L if you watch old performances of her, she used to be able to jump A LOT and still sound amazing. i think it has to do with her getting out of shape.. she recently tweeted about working out, jumping and singing at the same time. she's training for tour.. she's getting back to be able to do that.

To all you people commenting on the loudness of the backup singers, the loudness of their mics probably was out of their control. If you ask me they did perfectly, if only the mixer would have put their feed down and demi's feed up it would've been great. Cheers...

Damn, the sheer power of her voice is enough to give you goosebumps. I never cease to feel a chill running down my spine when she hits all those scarily high and supremely powerful notes towards the end of the song... Simply stunning
