Love watching this racing vlog, the racing, editing, and demeanor you have. I stumbled across your vlog because I searched for Oakshade racing video. I went to Oakshade with my dad for years. And still go back when I’m in Ohio. It’s one of my favorite tracks to watch racing, though the quality week to week is hit and miss. I don’t own a car, and never got to race. So this is simply two bias wishes from a fan. I wish you wouldn’t leave Oakshade. I wish there were consistent high quality effort to maintain a track at Oakshade. Praying for your hand to heal and hoping you can enjoy racing wherever you take #50 next.

Hope your thumb isn't broken and that it's doing much better! Really hate seeing your car torn up and the other cars as well. I think Oakshade may be about to have many good drivers abandoned it until they get some things straightened out. It's always sad to see a race track start to have it's good competition leave for better racing conditions. Hopefully you will be able to get your car back out on the track in a couple weeks. It's really tough racing on a small budget and these kind of incidents don't help matters! Love watching your son doing the jobs of top mechanic & crew chief for you. Would sure be nice if they did something with that track surface. Get ride of the bowl shaped banking and lay down some new clay. On a side note, you know that Oakshade weekly racers are very unpredictable and can barely keep a car underneath them so I am sure that you are kicking yourself in the head for going over there when you know better.

Ever used a solid wheel? Their not too bad, one you get used to them! And they are much easier on the thumbs! Just a thought, Good Luck!

Oakshit, I hope you l earnd your lesson. I had a track like that , and drove by it on race night to a different one an hour and a half away. The first track was 15 minutes away but just like crapshade. Hope it was just tin and a bolt on nose 👍🏁🇺🇸 Love your vids, but not getting tore up 🥺

The damage came from behind, not from the #31G...that was just racing. #35 car got plowed from behind and driven into your #51 car...that was unfortunate

When I was watching your hot laps the track is already dusty and rough, I am like do these people even prep their track and if so they need to do something different. It looked bad before any serious racing that is pathetic. Sorry for the bad night Ryan yeah it is racing but eventually it gets frustrating. Be positive brother things will get better you have to much passion and pride for it not to.

I dont understand how these tracks dont see holes in race tracks.It messes up race cars and causes stuff like this.I lot of guys run on a budget and its tough.I guess it could have been worse.

I wish I didn't know what the steering wheel can do to your thumbs I put a clear plexiglass insert in thinking that would help , no more broken thumbs but interfered with my grip so ! ! ! Had to adapt my driving skills after years it still bothers me occasionally till next time 👀👀👍🏁

Hope thumb is ok. Parts can be replaced. Just had a buddy get his Harley totaled Friday, got hit from behind by another rider. Both are ok but told him the same thing. Material thing can be fixed or replaced but main thing is your ok. You're kind impossible to replace.
