I've been an old school country musician now for over 33yrs. But evolving and making changes. So I recently got one of these 1-2mo's ago (Trio+) and haven't had time to use it yet. But a few people were giving me the idea that it's just for practice and not for actual performance. That it won't hang with me for an entire song. But looks like they're wrong. By what i see here

Great demo. I love all the new genres the Plus has. I have the TRIO and the SoloXT. I went that way because I like to loop keyboards as well lol. Awesome channel too!

It’s a good demo, and I really appreciate the no talking and just quickly demonstrating the various effects. However, if I can make one comment: it’s really important to tune your guitar accurately before you make a demo video.

fantastic video finally somebody is doing some of the guitar effects. how many built-in guitar effects does it have? I've also been told that you cannot gig with it although I've seen plenty of people do it so why is it so many people think you can't?
@g-man76873 жыл бұрын
You are only limited by your abilities musically and technically you could play live with this unit no problem If you know what you’re doing it will hold 12 songs per microchip and you can buy as many micro chips as you can afford !!!!

Michael, If you want that action,, think about a Beat Buddy with an Roland RC-30 or RC-300. Those two will give you that versatility.
@joebusuttil79556 жыл бұрын
I know this probably too to late say, as your comment was a year ago. But, I can tell you that if you want versatility, dare I say as much you can get in a real band, get yourself a BEATBUDDY & Looper that has the capability of at least 3 or 4 parts & MIDI-SYNC. My looper of choice is the BOOMERANG PHASE III because it SYNC's perfectly to the BEATBUDDY via a MIDI Cable & can handle up to 4 PARTS. The fun & creativity this setup has given me for the past 3 years is spectacular....And more importantly, it's the duck's gutz for LIVE performances. I'm sure the TRIO + can be used for live too. But I'm sorry, the quality of the Drum samples in the BEATBUDDY is far superior to the TRIO + Also, the TRIO + is limited at the moment to 4/4 & 3/4 feels, whereas the BEATBUDDY's Genre's have many many more, and are adaptive depending on the styles you choose. ... Cheers

Is there a way to set each beat for each song to do live? Like this: Number 1. Folsom Prison Blues. 2. Johnny Be Good. 3. Boot Scootin Boogie. etc. Everything preset for a live situation so the audience won't have to wait for me to take time to reset each beat? Do I have to reset each beat and let it learn each song?
@JetADR7 жыл бұрын
I don't have the Pedal myself but what I have read is you can store songs on an SD card with all the parts in tack. Also what I read from others is that it is not the best pedal for live performances. I am looking into this pedal cause I would also like to use it for Live shows. Right now i use the BeatBuddy for my drum pedal which is MADE for Live shows and is excellent at what it does but No bass.

I am a new user of the Digitech Trio Plus w/ the additional 3 button footswitch. I want to use my pedal in live performances. How do I sustain bass and drums at the end of a song? or How do I create bass and drum tag endings as is typical in rock and country songs. I don't like to have the bass and drum loop drop out completely on the last note of the last measure of the outro.
@joebusuttil79556 жыл бұрын
Create a part specifically for a Held or Sustained ending. unfortunately, the drums will not stop playing, but your Guitars & Bass will....one of the limitations of such devices I'm afraid....maybe they'll fix this in future Firmware updates if people stir the pot enough to Digitech :D

One thing I dislike: You have to teach the chord changes. I would like it more, that you simply play the first chord, starting rhythm, playing any song or any chord changes you want and Trio follows you.
@henrymatanoharrison4281 Жыл бұрын
I think only the boss js10 can do that or it's lesser one js e8

I would disagree. Perhaps a little, though. Unfortunately, I find myself having to occasionally retune my guitar after the TRIO pedal does it's thing, half the time, it seems. It's a quirk that no one has seemed to address on thias ole interweb thiongamajig. Let's hope they don't send goons in to take me out now! :) The thing also takes away from your tone a bit and makes it a little more digital, I have found. Aside from these little inconvienances, it's a remarkable accomplishment and does a remarkable job of creating an appropriate part for the riffs you enter into the thing. Band in a box for 99 bucks! And no one's drunk or out of tune and you just have to pay these 2 guys in this pedal once!

Hi, it would have been more useful if you just selected a style and then every variation for each style, you're not bad at guitar but when I watch a video about a gear, to decide if I have to buy it or not, I don't care about your riffs or playing style but just want to hear the gear's features. Hope to find some other video that shows every variation of each style, my deal is to understand if they are good or not. Thanks
