Insanity. In comparison to the driving noise in quiet parts inbetween songs, you can really tell how full and amazingly accurate this system is.

Thanks Peter I been into car audio since the 80s spent 5 years as an installer back in the 90s. I been following you for about 2 years now and got a lot of inspiration from your videos. I got something special coming to my car soon and going to give it a shot making my first video of me doing the build. Going to join your Patreon soon but all I can say is DAM YOU!!!!! Reason being as you know it's not cheap my account is almost 17k short and it's all your fault haha. Look forward to sharing what I can do with you and everyone on your channel and learning more from you when it comes to the tuning since DSP's are a little new to me, the basics are simple just going from an eqx's epicenters to a DSP and all but I'm looking to find that magic you and your patrons talk about.

Hello .Nice ,thanks for that video Peter. And that's type.of a car in good tire don't put in side cabin much noise .In addition, with such engine speed below 3000 rpm and speeds below 100 lm/h The sound of the wind and the noise of the tires will not be a strong problem.In addition after your work on damping .We are even better isolated from outside noises and have improved sound propagation inside the cabin . Thanks again for your great work .Regards ROBSONBERCIK

Peter. Love the work. Sibilance is a type of literary device and figure of speech wherein a hissing sound is created in a group of words through the repetition of 's' sounds. For example, “Sarah's silly sister swallowed her sweet.” Sibilance can also include more than just 's' sounds. I am sure that it is a combination of KZfaq, mics being overdriven.....something..just egaaaatz my ears are on fire. LOL

That’s scary quiet; maybe a transmission shift, not sure. Great job.
@pssound97497 ай бұрын
S-Class was designed to be the quietest car on the road. It won’t against the Rolls-Royce Phantom back in the day too. Engine is diesel, yet well isolated. All the cavities in the chassis are treated from factory. Transmission is super seamless and the suspension is on air. We hardly did any treatment to the car other than doorcards and the trunk because of the 15” in true-IB through the floor.

Now THAT is a good demo. With the car running. I mean yeah, competition is good, but car audio is not our living room. It’s a moving vehicle and we listen when we drive. Very cool! How many db were you listening at if you don’t mind me asking? Noise floor is at how many db?
@pssound97497 ай бұрын
Never measured the car, but it’s probably the quietest on the market i suspect. You can hear the background levels and me talking here & there too. Loudest level on the front-end while recording is definitely not above 95dB as above that the mic starts distorting.

My door speakers and underseat subwoofers are wired parallel (bmw/mini setup). Is it reasonable to add serial resistance to door speakers to lower their sound level to increase the presence of the underseat? Thanks :)
@pssound97497 ай бұрын
Hi, Rather get a 4ch amp, so you can separate the underseat drivers and the door speakers, plus apply active Xovers on the amp too, so the midbass won’t play high frequencies and the doors won’t struggle playing bass that they’re designed for. Set a crossover at around 150-200Hz between the speakers and you’ll get a much better result. Next level is to use an amp with built-in DSP, so individual time alignments and equalisation can be set too by a professional and then you’ll get a whole different level of result. I’d advise to watch the “Sound Quality in Cars” playlist on the channel and learn the basic steps. 👍🏼🔊🔊
