In this interview with SmallCapPower at the Sprott Natural Resource Symposium in Vancouver, Jayant Bhandari, Senior Analyst at Anarcho Capital, argues that between 60% and 80% of people in democratic countries should not have the right to vote. He also suggests that human suffering is worse in India than in China, and the situation there is deteriorating faster than he expected.

Its not democracy, you can't make complacent society do anything well, whether its democracy or dictatorship. The reason India is in poverty and chaos, is that Indians are relaxed, talkative and complacent, just like Africans, and South Americans, these countries always will be poor, the more complacent the poorer and chaotic they will become as they overpopulate. This is the truth and its that simple. Chinese on the other hand are highly frightened, and thus focused and hardworking, they were able to copy West and make the products cheeper, India cannot do that, that is the reason, if you want to understand how it works and how to fix it see kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fJ-Yqcl9za6VmoU.html or read the book :Frighten the World into Prosperity.

Democracy is not for India. India needs a smart dictator to pull out of current quagmire. India needs to do away the caste system, outlaw religions, build infrastructures, improve health care, encourage education to eradicate illiteracy, tune down her ego instead of just blaring in XXX years to overtake YYY country by actually working to achieve that end.

See china will be number 1 in this whole century no doubt about it but that doesn't mean the economy which will be on 2 and 3 spot is not developed.. Countries like USA, France, Germany, UK have what king of governance- single party or multi party? .. Are they not developed?.. Do you know the situation of india at the time of Independence.. what this guy says is spot on about India, being an indian i can say India is fast going backwards instead of forward, Democracy will work only if the masses are educated and if they participate in the whole democratic process of selection. No model is perfect. It'll somewhere work perfectly and somewhere it wont really work that nicely. For example Denmark is a democratic country and its one of the best model of a democratic system, sadly India is going in a complete opposite direction.

@@chiefrabbi6735 democracy cannot serve anywhere if public is not educated. Education gives rise to scientific thinking , civic sense , sensible participation, entrepreneurship and innovative mindset (Ambedkar's main argument was how India was a den of localism and tradition and caste but he wasn't right altogether . We're too long a time from Ambedkar or Chandra and knowledge itself has added or changed due to turns in history. Today , no one in political sphere would agree to it . Only bureaucrats do because that's what they want for themselves). In fact , India's democracy is why people of so many cultures are wanting to live under 1 roof AND MAKES US A NATION . At different points of time when political culture worsened to support narrow self interests so did India's territorial integrity and political stability. Now they're getting exclusive with the rise of Hindutva nationalism on lines of European xenophobic and exclusive late 19th century Nationalism which imperils democracy. Religious nationalism itself is based on confessional Religion as it developed in Europe something not endemic to India.

Instead democracy is a method of hope and struggle and it has long-term goal to make development. I agree that we are gonna doom like hell, we will suffer, there will be a pain but (with some regrets) there will be a hope and change, there will be a day that we will have a way with democracy and that time we are going to win! Instead I want every country to become win WITH DEMOCRACY! See, human kind was made to suffer by there mistakes and extra greed for exploration. Maybe we will suffer so let us suffer its the way of life, But we will have some PROUD on ourselves that we have not employed COMMUNISM or DICTATORSHIP after seeing some other country going Forward on GDP or "MONEY! they are making"! if you think there should be/are some standards of life that we should live or we should have money our pocket to buy a Lamborghini 😂😂! Then my friend you are greedy! see I am not judging you, I also have some greediness but not for money, Its for knowledge(science and math) and Food/Fruits like Pizza, paneer, apple etc .🤭🤭 SO, ending with this That don't let this CURRENT data shows you or brainwash you....that INDIA is bad or stagnating country (yes! there are lots of wrong things happens in India every Frekkin.. day! Criminals who do this will suffer there disgusting fate! by Seeing those crimes you can't state that Whole India is BADDEST CRIME HOUSE.....I would say with billions of people there comes billions of problems! Some big(even go viral), some Small ! But Guys with your support to defame India and Realizing truth to people of India! I request you don't just defame us on KZfaq platform! Defame us on Every platform (even on our face) so that we can learn by Shame. I also love the way Jayant is defaming us because the fact is Jayant is the real patriot of India. Notice in every Interview he defames India because he want the change in India and also earning some money through Chinese media! Smart! huh ;😁😁

North Korea is much better than ur country. Most of indians are extremely irrational and primitive. They fall for propaganda and fake news by their government. Why india is a backward and uncivilized country, which is impossible to progress The fundamental truth about india is that it is a very divided country. India often boasts the slogan 'unity in diversity' but this is not the case. Villages discriminate against other villages, religion discriminates against other religions, different communities discriminate against other communities. If you are a true citizen of india, then you know very well how it is in your home and the conversations you have about your people. India can only grow if it is truly united, when indians have discarded the concepts of Brahmins, dalits, Hindus, Muslims, biharis, UP. When someone from other state looks down on people from other state then how can india grow. People accept English instead of Hindi. Hindi is enforced but actually most of the states in India are non-Hindi speaking states. Indians are proud of their culture. But denies the truth that for centuries indians have discriminated and stolen, cheated, blackmailed each other based on caste, creed and color. That's Indian history. Indians don't respect fellow indians. Try to observe how when you shop. Observe while you are in traffic. Observe as you stand in line for a simple movie ticket. Do you find this experience peaceful. No, no. You are in anxiety. You are on high alert as most of the indians will cut in line to take your place. Is there respect shown to you as a human being? That's the indian mentality. Intrude on other people's space and property. Indian mentality is barbaric and savage, which is impossible to change.

@Jayant, sorry I am a few years behind on your video. However, I saw much more freedom, right, and democracy in China's socialism political system, then any western countries, especially, after Xi Jinping became president. During the 2 sessions, the people asked to end corruption, China investigated 600K+ people and prosecuted alot of the people. For the extreme case scenarios, they executed them, even the rich and powerful and famous people who corrupted the system! During another 2 sessions, the people wanted to be out of poverty. Xi Jinping started poverty alleviation project from 2015 - 2020 to lifted 800M+ people out of absolute poverty, which was 10 years ahead of UN scheduled timeline. 2021 2 sessions, people wanted equality and this is the next they are working on, but I noticed they already started equality project a few years back. So I completely disagree with you that China is dictatorship! Dictatorship is like the USA, UK, any western countries that always use the so called freedom, right, and democracy to bully other countries and never held accountable for their war crimes, such as, Powell said on the media holding a small bottle of liquid detergent to say it is bioweapon from Iraq, so they could bomb Iraq to make blood $ and rob Iraq out of their resources. ' THIS IS DICTATORSHIP! ' Another example of dictatorship is forcing other countries to follow a political system, religion, etc. Different religions: Islam, Christianity, Hindu, Buddhism, Daoism, whatever religions have been in China for a very long time! There are more mosques in Xinjiang province alone than in the USA! So you want to talk about dictatorship! Please think before you talk about dictatorship again! China DOES have more freedom, right, and democracy in their socialism system than any country in the world now!!!

Chinese people know that democracy doesn't work. Yes they have a one party system, but this is because the people approve of what they do. They are making everyone's lives much better and the countries wealth and stature is growing year on year. Alternatively in America they have a two party system which pleases only half the people. Despite the fact that they both follow the same policies. And are both in the pockets of wall street, big pharma and other huge corporations. And of course the military industrial complex.

People calling him great thinker should give it a thought that may be intellects like him are let loose for a big agenda in a very long period of time. All these so called geniuses always talk about growth and economics and in some way justify an alternative to democracy. Basically they want to say let's have a master. Rest all be extremely obliging slaves. All work in unison very hard so that all the ecominc numbers are always great and moving in certain direction as the master wishes. So basically our existence in nature is to make man-made numbers positive. I feel this guy got intellectually and physically fucked by Chinese or an autocrat and really loved it. This man is well read and his argument is not without merit though not perfect. We are probably in some of the mess we are in because Bob voted the way Ray and Jimmy voted just because they are Ray and Jimmy, not because the candidates arguments made any sense to them.🤷‍♂️. Where his argument falls apart is deciding who will actually run the country and how will that be decided and by whom. Can you see the few who are in power behaving like gods? That attitude actually led to the destruction of the Roman Empire. His example turned on itself. Not only that, his hypocrisy is showing because he lives in a free democratic society, not under an authoritarian regime. 🙄

Mr. Bhandari gives a list of non-democratic countries which did well economically - indeed, fantastically well, in the last century. Let me add a few more to the list - the Soviet Union, Mao China, Castro's Cuba, Cambodia, Vietnam, most of Eastern Europe. Yeah, they didn't have democracy. And they didn't have economic growth either. Instead, the death count under non-democratic systems of government during peacetime is well above 60 million people. I suppose not being in a democracy did not really work out economically for those 60 million. And this guy's funny cop-out on North Korea - "well, no answer is perfect!" Indians are hobbled by their paternalistic, socialistic government. Indians need to be free from their government and they will outshine literally every other national group. Indians in India make USD 1,800 a year head; the same Indians outside India make USD 50,000 a year a head.

Or the 1 million Soviet citizens killed in the Holodomor? Or the self-imposed poverty and economic mess in Zimbabwe? Or the millions killed in the man-made communist famine in Ethiopia? Or the mass killings in Angola in the "Dirty War"? Or the 1 million plus starved to death in North Korea? The list goes on and on and on. The part of the world where you are from may be gulam and poor but India is kept gulam and poor by none other than her own socialist state. As I said, where Indians are left free to perform, they are the richest and most productive people in the world. Her 35-million strong diaspora, with a per capita income of USD 50,000+, is proof of this. I don't even wish to indulge you in the North Korea comparison - that hell hole ended up starving over 1 in 5 of its people once its communist overlords in Moscow folded in 1991. Literacy is a technology that is, a means to an end; there is little point in being literate if you cannot use that to improve your own income. And you cannot improve your own income independently if you do not have title to your assets - like in China and in North Korea. One can tell you are speaking from your rear-end when you talk of North Korea's per-capita "income"; they do not have a price system with which incomes can be measured. How they conjure up a per-capita income figure is anyone's guess. With one-party state dictatorships, you are merely changing one feudal system with another, more vicious one. At least with the old feudal lord system, they knew they were wrong. Which is why you have representative democracy. These nuclear-armed feudal lords in the communist parties, on the other hand, are convinced they are morally right! And when they do go wrong - they go wrong big - as in, 100 million killed big, then who holds them to account? Maybe communistic one-party dictatorship is for Nepal and Pakistan, but spare India from this one. The thing about democracies is how they deal with problems - they debate, talk and find an acceptable course which appeals to most if not all. It puts people at the centre of the decision-making process. In a communist dictatorship, the problems are just eliminated through mass killing. No problems then right. Wonder what Mr. Bhandari would think if it turns out that him and his family were part of "the problem" in a one-party state in India.

It is not the problem of democracy. It is the heightened sense of nationhood that sustains democratic principles in India. The problem is with the political system and it's parties. Sectarian politics, corrupt leadership, sycophant bureaucracy and majority of literate not taking part in politics and voting process. It is the poor and illetrate that kept India's democracy intact. The left, intelligentsia and the well read talk, disburse and campaign falsehood about entire generation of hard working Indians. India with such diverse population has to develop sense of togetherness and social awareness of their obligation to the nation, not just tending to their families. Being a patriot is essential to bring India on par with any nation.

If Bhandari is really worried about democracies, he should take a good look at the state of affairs in the US (and Europe). What exists in the US today is almost complete dysfunction. India is a 'loud' democracy; the good/bad/ugly come out into the open and on to the streets, and a couple weeks later the dust settles and life goes on. I'm not suggesting everything is 'ok', but this guy's doom and gloom scenario doesn't make sense. In China, dissent is disallowed/quashed; long term, I don't see that working out too well especially when the wheels begin to come off; demographic decline is going to present huge challenges to China and people won't remain quiet. India, for all the 'messiness' he talks about, will likely be better off. Life is messy ...
