We had a guy lose both legs and one of his arms from the forearm down while in Afghanistan. I remember when he got his prosthetic legs he was fucking pumped that he was 2inches taller. He ended up winning gold medals at the wounded warrior games and played in the 2018 Invictus games. My point is, most guys who go through that trauma and come out on top have a fucking really good sense of humor about shit.
