Who cares about animation . People don't remember how long running anime used to look like when they were weekly. Nobody complained then. Black clover is like the last shounen that followed that weekly formula

Actually the reason this ep is poorly animated and 49 isn't is bcuz 49 was being worked on long before it aired cuz the animation director knew it was gonna be a big moment. Ep 48 and the previous 20 something episodes look the way they cuz of several reasons like understaffing, lack of staff with proper experience, 2 other studios that helped work on bc going bankrupt etc etc...🥴 black cover's production was really mishandled by the ppl in charge not the animators or anything

Best arc indeed. This will always be my favourite episode out of 170 eps. The next favorite is coming soon 😊 Idc about the bad animation the story telling and action are top tier.
