Also, I don't know why but adding the enter combat sound from Fear and Hunger to transition from one demon prince to another is such a nice attention to detail. That short but eerie sound will be forever ingrained in my mind ☠

For all the times Atlus continues to give us, it's still interesting how rare specific princes of hell either get little appearence or just about none while the 3 obvious Princes (or 4 depending on how you look at Satan and Lucifer). I wouldn't mind if SMT one day did create a demon boss looking of Leviathan and Mammon. Heck, I wouldn't mind a recreation of Asmodeus. I do kinda miss seeing the Lucifer look, but it is what it is.

Awesome compilation, I enjoy learning more about these demons; and these are full of well informed and deep information about each demon prince. This really taught me that there's so many conflicting and contrasting stories on each demon, as well as many different perspectives on them. I read a different version of the Belphegor true love story where he possesses a man's body and lives with a wife who leaves him in severe debt from her luxurious lifestyle. I don't think it's a canonical text though but it was fun! I see that smt includes other princes and kings too... i wonder if they will give those ones more epic scenes as well!

While many Christians and Jews know of Leviathan and Behemoth very few of us know of ZIZ. As Leviathan is a sea serpent and Behemoth is a monster of the land; Ziz is a creature of the air. Ziz is described as such: "The Ziz is as monstrous of size as Leviathan himself. His ankles rest on the earth, and his head reaches to the very sky. It did once happen that travelers on a vessel noticed a bird. As he stood in the water, it merely covered his feet, and his head knocked against the sky. The onlookers thought the water could not have any depth at that point, and they prepared to take a bath there. A heavenly voice warned them: "Alight not here! Once a carpenter's axe slipped from his hand at this spot, and it took it seven years to touch bottom." The bird the travelers saw was none other than the Ziz. His wings are so huge that unfurled they darken the sun. They protect the earth against the storms of the south; without their aid the earth would not be able to resist the winds blowing thence." By having Ziz being part of the Bible we again see the arch type of the Trinity and also have a personification of a base element - Earth (Behemoth), Wind (Ziz) and Water/Sea (Leviathan). The Biblical passages referring to Ziz are: "Psalms 50:11 'I know all the birds of the mountains and Zīz śāday [וְזִיז שָׂדַי] is mine' and Psalms 80:13"The boar from the forest ravages it, and zīz śāday feeds on it'" As is the case often, the translation from Hebrew and/or Aramaic is lost. Often in English the translations are the ambiguous "beasts" and referred to as neither singular nor avian. The Jewish aggadot say of the Ziz: "As Leviathan is the king of fishes, so the Ziz is appointed to rule over the birds. His name comes from the variety of tastes his flesh has; it tastes like this, zeh, and like that, zeh." The only reason that I know about Ziz is that I am a Christian from the Middle East (I am Maronite; an Eastern Church which is part of the Catholic Communion) that uses the Peshitta which is the standard Aramaic (the actual language Jesus spoke) translation of the Bible. "The Peshitta (Classical Syriac: ܦܫܺܝܛܬܳܐ or ܦܫܝܼܛܬܵܐ pšīṭta) is the standard version of the Bible for churches in the Syriac tradition, including the Maronite Church, the Chaldean Catholic Church, the Syriac Catholic Church, the Syriac Orthodox Church, the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, the Malabar Independent Syrian Church (Thozhiyoor Church), the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, the Assyrian Church of the East and the Syro-Malabar Church." And since Aramaic was the everyday language spoke by the Jews of Jesus' time and is related to Hebrew (parts of the Old Testament are in Aramaic the language of the author) it is able to convey the original meaning of Biblical passages better than English. To understand what I mean how would you translate the story of Jonas and the Whale to the Amer-Indian Tribes based around the Grand Canyon. They are in a desert and the only bodies of water are around the Colorado River and its tributaries. They have no concept of oceans, whales and sea crafts. So a litteral translation is impossible in their languages.

Am I the only one who noticed that in Persona 5, the Gluttony representative was obsessed with money, while the Greed character was connected to food? I thought that was pretty clever, since those two Sins are pretty similar if you're not meticulous about them.
