Hey you!
It is time for Demon's Pact part 9, Pull me Out!
Daichi has had a rough time on earth, being betrayed by a former pact mate left him swearing never to form a pact again. Without a portal to return home he's stuck roaming the earth in search of the happiness he once knew. Will he find it after an evening encounter with a mugger and a cute grey haired guy?

how could he survive on Earth without a living path mate for so many years?! We discovered in episode 3 that demons die without a pact.

That's a really good question! There's multiple ways for a demon to survive on earth, the most effective ones are to either have a pact with a human or to have your artifact, which is an object from this world, tied to the demon. Basically, they have to be tethered. The stronger their connection, the longer they can survive, though long term becomes tough without a pact (The fact that Daichi held out that long shows his strength). Bokuto impulsively jumped in through Kuroo's portal, and he did not have his artifact. When Kuroo's portal closed he had nothing tying him to earth, which is why he fell to Limbo. If you watch closely, Bokuto gets enough power to break the chains binding him when Akaashi brings his artifact close, before he even makes the pact. Demons can be sneaky sometimes, they have their ways to stick around for a bit if they have to, even without a pact ;)

Oikawa is Pride And Daichi is Greed. Which is why he doesn’t want to close a pact Cus the previous pact partner was effected by this sin of Greed and kept wanting MORE.

The set design, costuming, transitions! Everything is so stunning and meticulous! I'm just wondering how does he keep himself alive and out of limbo all those years? Does he have to consume souls? Did he find his artefact? Love this story! Because I've been wondering how Envy can say that a human could never hurt a sin but the others keep getting injured in fights. But I'm assuming that's because they don't have access to or or they're not taking advantage of their demon powers in their human form to keep themselves secret. Is it an automatic response to turn to their demon form when they use their powers and they have to concentrate to not so that's why Pride didn't switch to his demon form for the meeting in the later episode but Gluttony did when he was surprised by the tree? Seriously this has become a comfort series for me. And don't worry if there isn't an explanation I just enjoy re-watching this and picking up on details and thinking about how it works.
