Ashen One plays: Demon's Souls PS5 / Demon's Souls Remake Episodic playthrough on Playstation 5 Console. Will be avoiding any kind of typical Demons Souls Glitch and just playing through for fun and effect trying to get overpowered early with items and weapons such as helpful Demons Souls rings and some classic demons souls magic boosting gear. Not so much of a Demons Souls Review but I'll definitely share my opinions as we play through :)

I don’t know if you mentioned this in a previous video but if you go completely through world 4 and kill the storm king with the sword that it gives you, you can rinse in repeat 4-4 (or it was 4-5) and kill those flying stingrays over and over and you get a crap ton of souls

Super guide - really clear. The crescent falchion is one of my favourite weapons to play with in the game. World 4 in general is a great place to farm at any level of the game. I do like to try and get the compound bow levelled up to a sticky compound or lava bow early to help pick off enemies to make some areas easier to navigate ( especially in world 5 which I hate with a passion).

Good thing I got the crescent falchion before I getting killed by an online invader in human form. I accidentally changed the WT to black and now this samurai wielding red phantom keeps showing up in the beginning of 4-1 taking me out in one hit. Since I don't want to start from scratch again, just gonna bite the bullet and move on to the other worlds before I'm strong enough to take out that red ronin phantom later hopefully😂

Thanks bro. I stopped playing for a bit and now back in. The biggest takeaway for me was the soul farming spot. I went from level 50 to 78 in about 3hrs. 47 seconds per run from the arch stone to the demise of the phantom. I also just subscribed.

Thanks for the guide. I finished Elden Ring and my sister's co-worker heard about it so they lent me their copy of Demon Souls. I'll give your method a try tomorrow. I kinda wished you show the comparison between the two weapons being used on the same boss for us to newbies to get a better understanding of how strong they are comparatively. Overall though, great guide!

for people who want an early strength equipment you can get black world tendancy on world 1-1 and head to executioner Miralda (you can cheese her too) and get a nice 1h axe that scales greatly with str if you change it to Crushing. Also the fattest armor in the game, Brushwood armor is there in the pit near the Executioner.

Not really. They literally just copied and pasted the old code and updated the graphics. Didn't even patch out any of the old bugs or glitches. Kind of lazy honestly.

well it was a learning experience the first time around but i jacked up my world tendency in 4-1.. decided to restart from scratch, took about an hour to get back to the 4-1 boss. learned from my mistakes and dropped the boss. now LOVINGGG this reaper farm, im absolutely OP as shit now. wonderful guide and THANK YOU my guy, badass!

I think I missed the mausoleum key...I've looked all around that area. I also can't get close enough to the items near the dragons. I've been through the bridge and defeated the phalanx and now the red dragon is roosting with the blue one. Can I get it to move? I cleared the whole bridge and it never showed up.

For everyone struggling getting past the short cut with all the fire grunts and the knight with the spear before the moseleum just close the app and hit continue. You’ll spawn at at the moseleum

Listen, I perfected the farming run on the reaper and when you gwt the chance try it. The whole farm takes around 3 to 5 min and you can get around 25k to 40k souls. Upgrade your bow of choice to lvl 7 and if you can get your world tend to pure black (bonus if you can get the ring that gives you more souls). The run goes like this... Spawn on the bonfire roll down and kill the two rays in the sky.. follow the path kill the reaper... jump down pick the loot go to the OP skelly (use dragon longsword +5) kill 3 or 4 more rays on the cliff and follow the path to the white bow up the stairs and sit at the bonfire. The whole run, once again, takes around 3 to 5 min depending on how accurate you are and how much upgrades you have. Really broken.

I just got the sword, armor and ring from king Doran yesterday. It's tricky but the main thing is to get the timing down on the headbutts. Once you get the timing down so you can do the headbutts consistently back to back it's a cake walk.

If you can one shot the manta rays in 4-4 with soul ray at pure black world tendency, it is incredible 👍

I'm surprised you don't mention shooting the 2 rays before the reaper netting 2000 souls, that mixed with reaper nets over 6,000......and it's actually faster to just get the 2 rays and rinse and repeat than the reaper but I get both...awesome guide very helpful

Does the headbutt still work? When I tried the king one shotted me. (Though I punched him). I did this after he started walking back. Instead I used my wand for 12 points of damage. After about 30 mins he vanished. I went back thinking he reset but he was no longer aggressive and told me I was a good fight and just offered me the sword. So I have the sword now but really wanted the rings and armour

I start as a Templar, get the blessed Mace, get the judicator shild and the regen ring and i get a lot of hp regen ^^ Oh and for all classes: I farm 1x Iron Nuckle and make it blessed for parrys and life regen at the same.time ^^

What happens if i didn’t kill the first lizard? I went back and it didn’t spawn for me again so I’m stuck with 3 moonshadestone shards. Is there a way to get it again or get more to lvl up the sword?

I got the Crescent Fascion to +3 but now notice I also have the Kijiji and Uchigatana. Im thinking adding strength and seems Kijij needs less migjt go with that one and keep upgrading it to replace the faschion Want to upgrade the Kris Blade as well

Can this guide make this game semi easy for someone who hasn't played these games a lot? I play all my games on easy just to enjoy the story. I tried bloodborne and never got out of the first area and gave up after 4-5 hours. I really want to try this game but I think I need a lot of help.

This guide was awesome! Two important points that weren't covered: Anctient Knight Armor is for Men only. If you are a woman you need to invest 25k souls to open character creator in Nexus You can do the farm at the end with magic build. You will have to run up and kill 2 of the slow demons then from back of room shoot the reaper Thanks again for a great guide to get things going with this game!

i use a faith build in 1-5 pick up the blessed mace kill flamelurker kill adjuticator craft with ed the meat cleaver that boosted fiath level up fiath 30 and now your strong asf

If i kill ostrava, is there any chance to get pure white in boletaria, cause the gate at the start opes if u get pure white or black or just dont care about that gate?

Things of interest in the start gate: - Colorless Demon Soul - Hostile NPC Miranda - will be human at pure white and black phantom at pure black. If you kill her when she is human you’re going to lower your character tendency. - you get the brushwood armour and shield at bottom of ladder I wouldn’t bother with this gate early on. Get used to the game and then come back to it :)

Just finished the Phalanx. I tried to beat this game when it first came out on PS3 and had to concede defeat. It’s awesome revisiting it. Is your discord still relatively active? I’d love to jump in and meet some people (before asking someone to let me level demonbrandt on them)
