I just don't understand why you'd come to a souls game if you have that kind of mentality, the whole thing is about losing, not getting discouraged, and then overcoming overwhelming adversity. I really hope they penalize DCing much harder in Elden Ring than they did in DS3. Edit : Massive props to the last guy. He has the right mentality, and guess what? @@Jimmyinvictus Yeah. Honestly even running to the boss fog or summoning backup in situations you don't think you can deal with as a host is 100% legit. Some invaders might whine about it, but they're wrong to. It's completely within the intended rules of the game. Expectation has nothing to do with it. It being a feature denotes no use for it, nor does it legitimize it's use. Invading is bad, and you're a bad player for doing it. If you want pvp then do it organized. Forcing someone to deal with your crap isn't the answer. You're helping exactly no one but yourself when you do it and even if you prided yourself as a "honorable" invader despite having no claim to the word, it doesn't make up for players who purposely run and level their gear before invading in areas where they know people are ill equipped. Furthermore, pressuring players to just get better and practice is absolutely out of the question for people with actual jobs, or God forbid, people who want to play other games. Again if you want a challenge, you'll find yourself more evenly matched by fellow pvp'ers. If you insist on invading just whoever, you're punching down. If it's really not a big deal, then don't invade. I'm not starting in offline mode to play into your logical fallacy. Like wise, if you're sticking with the "deal with it" line of thought, then be sure to remind yourself of that ideology the next time you get ganked. Remember that it's your decision to take from others. There's my two cents. I'm not saying that's all there is to the conversation but I've written plenty as it is.

I just have to say this, those who quit out on invaders will always be worse than those who don't even if they are the same level of skill initially. A great example of this is 11:12, because of this moment she probably now knows that simply holding up a shield isn't invincible in pvp and clearly there are weaknesses. Meanwhile those who quit out are complaining about how they can't win and how the enemy player is invincible and better than them so why even try or will say something about how they are just here for the story even though that's very blatantly not the focus of any game fromsoft has released. Overall as a vet of the series its entertaining but somewhat disappointing to see people who come in to the hype expecting some well written tv show that plays out in front of you and then complain when they are hit with a legitimate challenge to their skill. Luckily the inverse is also a thing which is very enjoyable to see

This one was really boring, streamers just run away or quit out instantly. The intro of the video was cool though

I loved the reactions from the first two short clips, the lady, and the last guy. The first two weren’t really rude or pissy, the lady and the last guy both tried their bests and the last guy eventually killed him.

"I'm not here for the multiplayer." Psst. Hey kiddo. Yeah you, over there sitting on your sweaty ass all day doing nothing but playing and eating junk food, i have a crazy thing that lets you evade all multiplayer interactions and enjoy the game at its finest. It is called "Offline Mode". Here ya go kiddo, have a nice day.

adam barker: invades everybody else: 5:10 also 4:35 should be this channels catch phrase
@marisechristmas98972 жыл бұрын
Wait, I never checked, but does an invader appearing prevent you from accessing the fog walls or the boss or something? Because if not you were moving so goddamn slow that some of these players had literally no reason to disconnect instead of just, like, walking past you.
@AdamBarkerThe2 жыл бұрын
that was why I was over-encumbered, so if they wanted they could simply run away.

I completely understand scraping spear/acid cloud hate, but really if it’s the only thing that they are running. If a someone invades me with no armor, adjudicator shield (or silver catalyst with nothing but acid cloud and warding attuned), and scraping spear, I usually just jump off the nearest cliff or into the nearest lava pit. Occasionally I go afk to see if they keep poking and maybe 93% of the time they do (shout-out to that 7% for being chill). This build is pretty cool though, adding in the brushwood armor for reduced maneuverability and no rolls. Salt unwarranted.

thanks for noticing, I was cosplaying but also wanted to let players run away if they decided to (I enjoy the slow stalking lol).
