Hi everyone, this is my entry for the Sketchfab Sculpting Challenge: Angels and Demons

There are a lot of changes on the video because I was looking for an idea in the process, at the beginning there was no formed image of the character.

usually when a model consits of millions of polygons like this, do you use it else where like substance or pts for finishing and refinement touches? and if so do you have to lower the polygons first to export the file?

before texturing, you need to do a retopology of the model (low poly version), then bake the details from the version with millions of polygons into base texture maps. Then work on textures in substance painter

Although I have been doing this for several years, such questions are always perplexing) It depends on whether you do this according to a ready-made concept or come up with it in the process, which can increase the time. Free time or full time. I think from 3 days to a week only sculpting, and then retopology, UV, textures, rig, to infinity

@@dannywaterss нет, в процессе пробовал идеи, там от начала до конца поиск идёт) Если бы по готовому концепту то дольше надо было бы подгонять)

@@dannywaterss я считаю хватает, я учился самостоятельно. Но если есть проблемы с самоорганизацией и много денег то можно пойти на курсы, времени на обучение потратишь меньше. Есть конечно вариант что оно тебе не очень надо и без сильной заинтересованности, без дальнейшей практики курсы не особо помогут забудешь всё за пару месяцев если не будешь сам хреначить сразу после окончания

@@OlegEgorov no worries. That's just an annoyance with long timelapse videos with ads. We skip ahead so that we don't have to sit through much of it but whenever we skip, an ad pops up.it's annoying because the work is so good.
