The pattern does not include anything for the belt. Ours was bought!

The waistband usually has its own pdf file! It has a lot of notches and can get confusing when all the sizes are on the same file.

If you're keeping a woven fabric (no stretch) you'll need to make sure the waistband is wide enough to get over your hips.

@@CallistasWorld yes I believe we are thinking of the same one. It requires the same steps as the one I linked in the previous comment. The only difference is that the front panels are shaped differently but they are sewn the same way.

The construction is extremely similar. The main difference is that the other jacket is shaped differently at the front.

seam allowance is included in every pattern piece we sell.

@@clairefalcone2246 there are other video tutorials that use the same application method! Malon's skirt and Mitsuri's skirt have the same application method for there waistbands. Maybe it will be helpful to watch those as well. Let me know if it helps!
