Daki and Gyutaro's voice are really good! Gyutaro's voice is way better than I'd imagined. And Miyuki Sawashiro's (Daki's va) portrayal of Daki throwing a tantrum in this episode was really good! Major props to their VAs. And thank you for the re-upload!

Virtually every reactor I’ve seen react to this episode forgets that a demon has to be decapitated specifically by a nichirin sword for them to actually “die.” It’s why the demon didn’t die in the first episode when tanjiro cut its head off with his ax and then pinned it to the tree. And it’s why nezuko didn’t die when Daki cut her head off with her obi. I know it shouldn’t, but the fact that it seems literally no one remembers that crucial detail is really starting to bother me.

They just some bullies man, her crying activated every eldest siblings' radar and made must protect. It feels confusing because on one hand you recognize it so well as a little sibling needing you/ hurt/ overwhelmed and as the oldest brother I wanted to make it better. On the other hand it's fucking Daki... WHAT IS GOING ON. Her cry was so earnest!

Tanjiro's deceased family members coming up to him and Nezuko in for clutch is either just a literary device to represent their survival instincts kicking in or just the fact that their souls can't rest until Tanjiro has dealt with Muzan (like in Season 1 with the Hand Demon and how after killing him, the 14 Urokodaki disciples went to Mt Sagiri in peace).

I think a lot of reactors have missed this: demons don’t just die from a beheading; it has to be specifically by a nichiirin blade. That’s why Rui (lower moon 5) chopped his own head off before Tanjiro could get him. So when Daki took Nezuko’s head, it wouldn’t necessarily have killed her, but the way she held her body together + the speed of her regeneration is what’s noteworthy

And the award for worst memory goes to The Normies again for the 5th year in a row, they never disappoint lol. No but for real you guys seemed very confused when Nezuko's head came off and she didn't die. Only the swords demon slayers have can kill demons. Two demons can't kill each other that's why Daki told Nezuko she was going to absorb her into her cloth thing then leave her in the sunlight at dawn. Hope this helped. Oh and (Chris) Nekuzo is Tanjuro's younger sister not older, the baby on their mom's back was one of their many younger siblings.

The voice acting of gyutarou is top tier af the way he make him sound nasal when the sentences or words are long so the creepiness in his voice will be maintained because gyutaro talks slow and then he will add a throat voice at the end of his sentences once in a while too just to complete the flavor of gyutaro's character goddamn what a fvking talent

Truly! My one thing that I'm kinda upset that the studio weren't able to do (this is just my personal nitpick as a manga reader) was blood-tear Tanjiro. In the manga, Tanjiro in that scene was almost expressionless. What I mean is that his face just looked calm, no anger, just cold hard apathy. In the anime, the anger is evident. I liked the way the manga portrayed that scene better because it clearly distinguishes the Tanjiro we all know and love versus the Tanjiro at that moment who looked possessed. But that's just me, and the way the anime did it is still amazing overall.

A lot of people seem confused about the Nezuko thing because they've forgotten a fact from Season 1. The only thing that kills a demon is the head being cut off by the swords forged from the special metal that's been soaked in the sun. That's why Rui A.K.A Web guy from Season 1 cut his sister's head off out of anger without killing her and his own head to avoid Tanjiro's cut. Nezuko being chopped up wouldn't have mattered even without her blood demon art as it wouldn't have killed her anyway and it's meant more as a feat of strength that dismembering her not only doesn't slow her down, but her blood is a lethal weapon even against other demons.

With the nezuko thing of getting hee head cut off: "she can just walk this off?" Yes she can, every demon can, alot of people seem to forget as the series goes on, you dont kill a demon by removing their head, you kill a demon by removing their head with a special nichirin sword, you can cut one's head off with a normal sword and they'd live

Man, every time I rewatch this I get a different angle on Nezuko's tears. Do they stem from being overwhelmed? Grief for her lost humanity? Disappointment in herself for falling to temptation? It could be any of those or more, and it really drives home that for all that Daki deserves to be stomped into the ground, the natural cruelty of the demonic condition is a tragedy. (The Hashira who wear smiles are surely an essay all their own, and I don't have the knowledge a manga-reader has.)

at first I didn't really like Gyutaro's voice actor, but the more i watch the more it fits his personality really well, they are demons with horrible back stories so it makes sense how he picks at his skin to deal with his mental issues on how he lived when he was a human.

Just a reminder that the man Daki has visions of when fighting Tanjiro is not his father, it's the first Demon Slayer. The only time we've seen his actual father so far was I believe when he had that flashback before using Hinokami Kagura for the first time.

I'm really impressed about how u guys(and a lot of other reactors I see) just keep saying:"put her out of her misery" and just watching like she was just a brat and it was nothing wrong with that scene. Like she has the upper number rank in her eye, she was not disappearing even after decapitated, to this whole scene I knew it something was off and that she was not just that. Guys demons decapitating demons doesn’t kill them. Only the special metal the swords are made from does it. That’s why rui cut his own head off to stop tanjiro from being able to do it during their fight

Just some clarification from earlier in the series, not a spoiler. Demons can lose their heads and still survive, it happened to the 1st demon that Tanjiro fought before he became a Demon Slayer. They only die from it when the special Nichirin blades cut their necks because the blades are made of ore that was made in the sunlight

Thank you! Someone who actually agrees with me! Daki can’t help how she acts since she was turned at age 13 even though she’s 100+ years old! If people say otherwise then look at me. Demon Slayer swords are the only weapons that can kill a demon via decapitation. Back on season 1 Rui the spider lower rank demon cut his own nech with his own string so that Tanjiro's sword wouldn't cut his neck. If it was Tanjiro's sword that cut his neck he would've died. Only 3 things currently explained can kill a demon 1. Sunlight 2. Beheading using Nichirin Sword 3. Muzan's attack (he's the only demon that can kill other demons because he's the source of the demon cells)

I think y’all confused about the beheading thing. When a demon slayer beheads a demon, that’s how they kill them, it’s because their swords arent ordinary. They are designed to kill a demon. When the girl demon beheaded Nezuko, that would NOT kill her.
