Honestly it’s your fault for not titling and thumbnailing it correctly. I thought it was Hinokami Chronicles 2 from the title. The way you title videos is so misleading, like you always name the anime game you talk about just the anime so when you have a video called “Jujutsu Kaisen is bad” what did you expect to happen?

That were my thoughts as well when this game was announced, that they were just buying more time, like a years and half maybe, to get more content (season 4) for the HC sequel, and also to try out models and animation for characters that weren't in HC 1, i feel like this game won't be that bad, but the hype for HC 2 is starting to build up🔥

If we assume they are waiting for the training Arc to be airing/ending, then we can assume all hashiras will be playable, probably not gyomei? But maybe so. Demons-wise, I think they'll wait for the last Arc to start on the anime to announce dlc like the Entertainment district arc

I still think they should wait until they cover the sun down countdown arc in the anime or at least the infinity castle arc before releasing another game. It would be a good way of adding a bunch of content to the game at the SAME TIME. They already have a good start with them having the sword smith village arc character animations done like muichiro’s ultimate and Gyokko a surge and the hashira training arc being covered in the new movie, so just one arc left to go.

For me un ironically this might be my second most wanted anime based game right now and my most wanted is the anya game …. Yeah I have bad taste I know but I love mario party and demon slayer so why not and it looks fun tbh I would have taken another show than demon slayer for the fun board game like one piece or some popular slice of live like comy can’t communicate (idk if anybody but me still cares about that anime but it’s the first I can think of) but still I love the idea

I don't think CC2 is developing Sweep the Board. There's no mention of them on the game's website nor in the trailers. Regardless, I do think that a sequel to The Hinokami Chronicles will get made eventually. I just hope it comes to the Switch and/or whatever the next Nintendo console is...

Honestly if they didn’t put so few characters into the first game they could’ve port all these new characters as DLC. But if they want to have a sequel then they have to save characters because there doesn’t seem like to much they’re willing to use since majority of the demons aren’t even playable

I really wish cyberconect and anaplex just couldn't just add the content into Demon Slayer to the hinokami Chronicles based off of the manga and not solely based off of the anime but that's cyberconnect for you. I'm not trying to be like a butt or anything it's just like hinokami Chronicles had a small roster during the year it came out which was the same year that one of the VA passed. Yeah I understand it takes a while to make a game but they couldn't just take the manga content from the Demon Slayer manga instead of from the anime and just add the characters the storyline the plot that's what they do with the Entertainment District arc Wouldn't it be shocked if this is coming out next year 2025 or 2026. I wouldn't be shocked but probably by then I'll probably own the first game which is kind of like well it's kind of pointless but it's a good game but it's also pointless because it has a small roster I'm being brutally honest.

The polish of CC2`s games have kind of fallen off a cliff the past several years. Say they do release another KnY game but it ends up being in a similar state to Storm Connections, which is still hot garbage several months after launch... Yeah, not getting my hopes up and keeping my expectations extremely* low.
