This is why people need to read the manga… Tanjiro’s dad never became a Hashira or Demon slayer; and his name is Tanjuro. In the manga, it says that his dad was strong enough to become a demon slayer or Hashira but remained a coal seller like his family for generations. And the biggest misconception that people have is that Yorishi or however, you spell, his name was not related to Tonjiro. He was a family friend of his ancestors. He saved his ancestors from a demon attack and in return, the Kamado family, honored him with a dance of his breathing style and pass down his earrings. Everyone tells you to search up things, but in this case, the Internet will not throw you the true things about Demon slayer. Read the manga it tells you all the information. ❤
