@@keith3237 I am protesting that we should not keep allowing video game companies to make 3d arena fighters so often. I genuinely believe that game companies limit their creativity by continuing to limit to 3d arena fighters just cuz it cost less to make for them. We speak with our money. I believe that a series like demon slayer would be a very interesting open world game yet because they have preset building blocks in the company they can build off from they chose to make arena anime fighters exclusively. The mind set is "it doesn't exactly matter what kind of game it is as long as the promotional material can have cool animation attacks showing. The fan base will buy it either way." Anime games have a lot of potential outside of 3d arena fighters. I do admit a lot of anime like dragon ball z deserves the 3d arena fighter like treatment and was very confused when they made an open world like dragon ball game when something like fullmetal alchemist would thrive in that creative environment. Anime with interesting world building that makes you wanna know more are series that deserve the open world treatment. Demon slayer is a perfect example imo. It would work really well with how things are set up in the story.
