I can’t believe where up to final stages of demon slayer this Taisho secret was not I was expecting in the end but this was sad and heartwarming hearing Rengokus voice was emotional. I have a feeling this will be the last taisho secret until the final battle but hopefully will put more taisho secrets on the movies.

Obanai already knows it. Rengoku and Obanai shared a brotherly bond! When Iguro was imprisoned by the snake demon, it was Rengoku's father Shinjuro who saved him. After that incident, Obanai developed a close bond with Kyujuro Rengoku and they started training together! Yes, he is a very possessive boyfriend but Rengoku was an exception.

Bro you should have included the full video where Rengoku actually showed up at the end! Both Tanjiro and Mitsuri were stunned after hearing his voice and then he encouraged them on their upcoming battle against MUZAN! That would have made this video complete. Missed that part. Considering they movies will eventually be an episodic arc like they did with Mugen Train (hopefully in the gap between movies), if they still plan on doing these segments, I think some should be hosted by the upper ranks. This is their territory now, so they're playing by their rules. Bet their's are about the how much sins they committed before they're introduced. (This is similar to how the post credits where handled in the lastest arc in Fuuto P.I.)

I don’t think you read the manga. Have you? SPOILER As much as I like this ship, it’s not canon. After the final fight, Obanai loses his eyesight altogether and Mitsuri loses both of her arms. Obanai and Mitsuri confessed their feelings to one another, and they both died together with Obanai’s arms wrapped tight around her. Once reincarnated, they are married and have 5 children.
