It already does that in the story when your fighting a demon if you parry it’s attack you can press triangle to behead it

Hey for the akaza phase 2- i’m not sure if it actually saves time seen as i’m not a speed runner but when it starts i decided to do a chase dash to see if i could reach akaza before he jumped and somehow i managed to do a bit of damage. I think it cancelled his jump too sooo it could be a time saver of a coupe seconds

You got lucky af I'm pretty sure, depending on your speed/reflexes, it's around a 2/3 chance to fail (at least during my playthrough)

personally, i don’t skip the cutscenes when speedrunning, i like to know what is happening in the story and if i skip its just fight fight fight fight and fight

the series cant be spedrun , they have exact time for episodes and u wouldnt rlly skip anything , it would come down to how fast u can switch to next episode

Oh I would love to maybe try speedrunning but I’ve never tried before. The technical side intrigues me and it would be a great way to get better at the game since I don’t have Nintendo online and my family doesn’t want to face me at pvp since I’m the best of us (Giyu main btw). I’ll look into it more and see if I want to try any% or maybe 100%. Perhaps some obscure speed runs like leave your family behind%

Btw Globku. I think if you did Water wheel waterfall water wheel whirlpool it could just give you half a second faster on Kyogai near the end. It has bugged me why you didnt do whirlpool because that also could kill him. Sorry just had to get this off my head. And here is the time stamp if you need to know about what i'm talking about 12:22

If you knock him down with whirlpool, you finish the fight faster, but it takes longer for the quick time event to start, since you have to wait for Kyogai to wake up
