Cast are a criminally underrated band.

I didn’t appreciate the brilliance of John when I was younger. Truth being I bought one album which I played constantly and loved, this just adds confusion as to why I didn’t get into Cast in a massive way, just took them for granted. Recently I’ve been listening to Johns songs and I think he is amazing, he writes brilliant tunes and has an amazing voice. I think the reason the band never got the true recognition they deserved was because of dickheads like myself taking them for granted and I truly apologise for that. John Power is one of the greatest songwriters this country has ever produced.

So great to hear him talking about and, playing all these amazing songs, what a artist, what a fantastic Liverpool legend
