Voor de beveiliging van objecten, zoals tankwagen verladingstations, worden meerdere brandscenario’s bekeken. Deze installaties worden gebruikt om (brandbare) vloeistoffen te laden of te lossen waarbij het risico op een lekkage bestaat. Deze installaties bevinden zich meestal in de buurt van opslagtanks en pompinstallaties voor deze vloeistoffen, waarbij het risico op het ontstaan van een brand aanwezig is.
Toepassing 1: bij brand, in de omgeving van het verladingstation, is een effectief koelsysteem nodig om de tankwagens te koelen.
Toepassing 2: bij brand, in het verladingstation zelf, is het nodig om deze vloeistofbrand te blussen met schuim.

F3 foam nozzle
The F3 foam nozzle is specially designed for cooling and extinguishing with extinguishing foam for local applications, such as truck transfer stations. There are several fire scenarios to be considered for these applications. Truck transfer stations are used to load and unload (flammable) liquids with a risk of leakage. Additionally, these stations are usually located near storage tanks and pumping installations for these liquids, so there is a risk of a fire starting.
If a fire occurs in the vicinity of the loading station an effective cooling system is required to cool the trucks. In the event of a fire in the loading station itself it is necessary to extinguish this liquid fire with foam.
