Demonstration of the Flying Shuttle Loom - The Desert Monk

I looked this up cause I was reading Job 7:6 NLT [6] “My days fly faster than a weaver’s shuttle. They end without hope. So, I wanted to see what a weavers shuttle was. Thanx 4 the video! 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for the video. I looked this up cause I'm reading about the Industrial Revolution. I know nothing about weaving and just watching you for 5 minutes doing your thing made me more wise. Thanks.

Gracias!!! Es lo que necesitaba comprender de un telar con lanzadera a martillos. Ya me parecía que debía ser algo así... Este ejemplo esta bastante simplificado. A su telar le agregaría unos bordes de madera, del lado del tejedor, en la barra del peine, para evitar que se caiga el huso al final de su carrera. Saludos y Bendiciones.

Flying shuttle!? Next thing will be the cotton ginny and steam powered belt looms, and it'll be the Industrial revolution all over again, and then where will we be?

Yes, as soon as I get our roof project done, I will get back to weaving, and post a video of me using that loom.

You should get a chair that is right for doing that. Trust me.

I will have to make a custom bench for this loom, however it is much more fun standing at this on, my other looms have proper benches
