Den Tapre Landsoldat (The Brave Soldier of The Fatherland) is Danish patriotic song dating from First Schleswig War 1848-50, which was foughted against the German Confederation, led by Prussia.The song, written by Peter Faber at the outbreak of the war, became extremely popular and it is still popular in Denmark today.
