Very nice product indeed, which I do not see if you have also implemented the feature when switching on hazardous lights and the primary lights also blink that you can set the intensity lower. When driving in traffic with blinking D7 at 100% makes the driver very nervous so the ability to also dim this D7 with an extra setting when turning the hazardous feature on in the software would be nice

Trying to find install help/guidance for Goldwing 2023 Tour using Denali D7 Pro with DialDim. Nothing yet. Questioning feasibility on newer Goldwing units. Fairing removal and Power Cable routing is.... not looking workable for me.

Hi. Really intrigued by this product. I have a Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 with LED lights. Have never been able to pick up the (low voltage) high beam signal for my Denali 2.0 D2's as the bike uses Canbus signals. Will the DialDim work on my bike as yo have demonstrated in the video?

How do you know what Amp value to set for your lights? I just bought the D7 pro lights and want to run the center bank of three lights separate from the upper and lower banks of two lights. Then, if I decide to run all seven lights on one circuit, what Amp value should I set for that? Thank-you.

We haven't developed a plug-&-play harness for the Triumph Tiger 1200, but you don't need one. The product is 100% universal and can be connected to your Tiger using the provided posi-tap connectors.

I am 80% installed on my KTM Adventure 890R. Small detail, but wish you would have shown proper posi-tap use and installation. And can the posi-taps be removed should a vehicle specific harness become available?

I'm just curious, my motorcycle is the same model as in the video, but how to install the switch body on the handlebar position in the video? The original bracket doesn't seem to be able to fit in that position.

Very nice, I have Denali lights on both my Moto Guzzi, they are quality stuff. However, the small lights don't have so much power that need dimming. Not worth tearing the bike apart for all these wires because you do need them at full intensity. Their larger lights....may be a different story though.

You have a point if you are using small lights simply for conspicuity. The smart features like flash with signal and flash on horn are worth the DialDim upgrade IMHO, especially on a bike that doesn't have a CANbus system.

Wiring is universal and as in depth as you choose to go. For basic on/off/dim light control, you only need to connect your DialDim to 12V positive, negative, and connect your lights! If you wish to incorporate horn, signal, and high beam functions, simply tap each circuit and enjoy! We are working on plug and play harnesses for popular bikes, but the pnp systems are not required (just a convenience). You can run DialDim on anything with DENALI lights and a 12v battery!

Nice set ups for the AT and indeed Interesting that all this is possible BUT I'm just riding a motorcycles not piloting the space shuttle HAHAHAHA way too complex for my aging Grey MatterHAHAHAHA... The AT's bundle of switches and settings is already enough over kill........ All I really want is a set of FLASHING BRIGHT LIGHT during the day and a SOLID BRIGHT LIGHT at night thats wired through my AT key switch. ..... Do you have a harness for this ?

Flashing front lights are typically illegal in most countries and states as they mimic emergency vehicles, we do not offer any harness or controller with a constant flash for this reason. I would install the DialDim with one conspicuity light set on all the time and a second set that you flip on with your high beam switch. Once you set the DialDim with these settings, you don't need to activate them each time you ride and you won't need any additional harness as it is all contained in the DialDim harness.

We have not tested the DialDim to work on different generations of the AT just yet. It is our educated guess that it will not plug right in. The universal DialDim works flawlessly on the older AT's, however!

I can see companies like Denali developing turn/lean lights due to modern motorcycles increasingly incorporating IMU sensors that know when and how far the bike is leaning in 3D space. I could see a programmable circuit that kicks on corner lights at a present lean angle on IMU equipped bikes being a thing. Manufacturers are already doing this on some expensive motorcycles, but I am assuming with limited visibility to see around curves. OEM lighting is often very much an exercise in frustration. All one would need is a trigger wire from an IMU canbus circuit to illuminate cornering lights. User could adjust those to point out/up at whatever angle they require by use.

We don't currently offer a plug and play harness for that model, but the DialDim does work out of the box for your scooter. You simply tap the signals, high beam, and horn wires with included posi-taps and all smart functions are enabled. Even without the leads tapped, the DialDim will still control and dim two light sets.

The high beam is the only function of the DialDim that you cannot use with on the 1250. BMW is touchy with their high-beam signals.

Yes! It is completely universal so it will work with the Tenere 700 out of the box. We did however develop a plug-&-play harness for the Tenere which will be available in January 2022.

The biggest differences are the universal application of the DialDim and the visual feedback from the controller. The DialDim can be installed on basically any vehicle with lights and a 12V battery. The CANsmart obviously can only be installed on the models that have CANbus systems and have a CANsmart module developed for it. The DialDim is perfect for any bike, especially those without a CANsmart available. That said, there is a lot of customization available inside the software of the CANsmart that can't be achieved on the DialDim. The DialDIm provides instant visual feedback for which light set you are controlling and what level your lights are at. With the CANsmart, you do not have a "display" to show you the levels of the various light sets, whether they are on/off, etc. All of that is controlled through the OEM controls and typically a rider has to look at his/her lights to know for sure what they are doing.

Too many wires! I bonded 2 traditional hellla ff50s to my high beam, pretty simple, primitive but damn effective

While we are glad that this setup works for you, the DialDim only requires 3 wires minimum to control lights. Simply connect fused 12V positive, negative, and your lights and you are good to go.
