At age 70, I find it almost impossible to listen to today's young people because they don't use pronouns, adverbs and adjectives correctly. They've made up their own new standard of "new age speak", which shows the egregious lack of grammar and vocabulary skills once taught when I was young. I give her credit for holding a convo. My brother is engaged to a girl like this and I will say out of the 2 of them... this interview would have lasted 3 minutes with them storming out lol. It's clear that this person has lived in a woke echo chamber her entire life as she just recited woke talking points without giving much substance to back them up (she has probably never needed to back them up). I sensed that she was triggered but I also think that Jesse's questioning made her think more deeply about what is in plain sight to nearly everyone in society. I was 17 in the late 80s getting my first job at McDonald's, I was there for about 6 months, one day the manager comes up to me and tells me that I have to cut my hair or find another job. I had a mullet at the time in my hair was down past my shoulders. Oh and I'm white! And my manager was white! I didn't whine or complain about I just went and found another job lol so it don't just happen to black people so stop with the race-baiting!!

Exactly. Her long braids are what she uses to show off cause she's fat & doesn't look good in a lot of clothes. I wore my hair in long braids for about a year. People don't realize how HEAVY & uncomfortable it feels with them pulling on your head 24/7.

Ya know- at least she was pleasant. I really appreciated that. I also appreciated that she asked questions abt Jesse's views instead of responding with vitriol. I genuinely believe she wants to have good intentions in her belief system. She's just been very misled in some key areas and doesn't know it. She also is motivated by some selfish desires she has yet to see in herself. She's young. I hope she finds truth as she grows. She'll need to bust out of the worldview ghetto she's in though, and expand her friend group and reading list to include those who think very differently. She should start with Frederick Douglas, the Federalist Papers & Thomas Sowell. I wish her well.
