Why edges of fabric are not smoked?

That's a good question. We know the laser features high speed and high precision, that get the fabric a minimum heat-affected area and instant fabric melt. You will get clean, sealed edges. Besides, we use the well-performed air blower and exhaust fan, which will get away the fume and extra heat swiftly.

@@MimoWorkLaserI am using also CO2 laser to cut cotton or poliester. Edges are little smoked , it is not a problem too me. I am trying to cut small details of leather by CO2 laser. Edges cannot be smoked. Can you help me?

@@dawidd.3525 We used to laser cut leather for shoes, the effect is great. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fc9-h8ur37beh2g.html In your situation, you can try to turn up the air blower to increase the air input. Typically we offer our clients cutting solutions after testing their materials. So we suggest you consult your machine supplier for more accurate advice, cause the setting will be different due to the various machine configurations.

@@MimoWorkLaser My laser is a 60 watt CO2. I try to cut with 2-4 bar air assist, and nitrogen assist with the same pressure. Speed from 20 to 120 mm/s, focal lenght is 50,8 mm. Edges must look like been cutted by leather die or scissors.
