She is Called Daisy due to her love of the Daisy flower and because she is sooo easy to love 🙂 As a Young man i served in her Royal guard, it was an honour 🙂 Love from 🇩🇰

She was nicknamed Daisy by her mother, queen Ingrid, after her maternal grandmother whose name was Margareta (of sweden) and who was also nicknamed Daisy

That would be kind of difficult. There are fortunately no scandals in the Danish Royal family thus no drama ☺️and f you messed up the truth too much we, the Danes, would be pretty pissed. The Royal family is very popular and the Queen is much loved by her people.

And Our Queen, the crown-prince and Princess Mary all have this calm and Humble attitude.. they mingle and speak with us Common folk when they get a chance, they always show genuine interest and you get a honest feeling that they really do care.. Many monarchies could learn from these wonderful people.. we as danes are truely blessed having the royal family we do.. free of the scandals that Seem to flourish in Many other Royal families. And we also like you aussies in general 🙂

@@goinggoinggone535 l don't even remember writing this, and l know our Queen NEVER CELEBRATES accession day, she always spends it quietly at Sandringham remembering her father even this year the reception held to mark 70 years was a small one with just people from the local area and was held the day before accession day

​@@lsmith9249 What are you even talking about? Her entire Jubilee was celebrating the date of her ACCESSION to the throne, the 6th of February 1952, the day King George died. Britain and the entire Commonwealth celebrates that day as her Jubilee, just as Queen Margrethe's people celebrate the day their queen acceded the throne. Celebrating the accession and commemorating the death of another aren't the same things. If you're going to falsely accuse the people of Denmark of celebrating the death of their king by celebrating their queen's accession, then why aren't you applying the same double standard to Britain's queen's accession? Who cares if she personally is in Sandringham? The nation (and Commonwealth) are celebrating which is what you accused the Danish people of, but no one is celebrating the death of another monarch, merely the accession of a monarch.

@@goinggoinggone535 the jubilee is being celebrated at the beginning of June WE DO NOT CELEBRATE ACCESSION DAY IN THIS COUNTRY every year when our Queen goes to Sandringham she stays there till after accession day there will be 21 gun salutes and the press will mention it, but that is it and the commonwealth realms are independent countries, if they celebrate it that is their choice this year was slightly different, with it being 70 years a small reception was held at Sandringham on the FIFTH but only locals were invited, there was not a celebration our celebration will be over 4 days at the beginning of june just like it was for the Diamond jubilee

@@lsmith9249 That's only because the Jubilee celebration coincides with her birthday celebration (her actual birthday is not in June) due to the better weather. That has nothing to do with your disgusting (and incorrect) statement about they were celebrating the death of their Queen's father by celebrating the Queen's accession. Who cares what "you know our Queen celebrates" this or that? Your comment was about their public, and contrasted with the UK public's celebration of Queen Elizabeth, it's no different. It doesn't matter if Her Majesty chooses to go to Sandringham or not.
