So immediately after acknowledging Larry King saying Trump is socially liberal but is acting differently, with Larry finally asking "why is he acting this way?" .. Miller says Trump's outer voice is an accurate depiction of his inner voice?

It is very ironic and sad that Dennis Miller. a once very funny individual has become a supporter of Donald Trump, a man who he would continually rip on Weekend Update back in the 80s and early 90s. He says he is socially liberal but all I hear is support for a party who isn't that at all. I understand the dislike of Hillary because I feel the same way, but Dennis Miller isn't consistent in his allegiances. I miss the HBO Dennis Miller who would go after everybody regardless of affiliation.

I enjoy Dennis Miller, and i idolize Clint Eastwood. But why do people who say they're socially liberal but fiscally conservative always vote conservative? Aren't social issues ever as important as fiscal issues, especially when you're rich and won't be hindered by things like healthcare.

Except Miller and most conservatives don't actually show that they're for smaller government at all. They support big government all the time. The fact that both parties create big government means that the social issues are even more important. And don't forget how much damage fiscal conservatism is doing to the middle class and poor.

He's not socially liberal; he has one part of an issue that he can point to where he doesn't entirely agree with the conservatives. It's like when O'Reilly would say he's not very conservative because he technically kind of sort of didn't believe in the death penalty.

I don't know where Miller stands on the socio-political ideological spectrum, and I don't really care. He comes across as a guy who tries hard to appear witty, hip and urbane, but can't pull it off. He just seems phony.

He's out of touch. He makes references that only old farts understand while trying to come off as cool. He's playing the conservative card to remain relevant. He gets booked on Fox News on a regular basis, so he has to play this act.

Actually Dennis is one if the realist, down to earth guys. He's very conservative, morals and values are important, while being socially liberal, people should be able to make choices and mistakes without other people telling them they can't, America is still a few country, for now!

I'm glad Dennis Miller has to show his stupid face on tv and dance around his "conservative" support of the corporate run GOP party. His voice all of a sudden gets softer and his arcane, smug references become far and few between. And yes, Dems take money from lobbyists too. That's how you get elected these days. But they don't actively try to cut entitlements to fund the rich.

You may see it as apathy. I see it as a dose of realism. This is where we are now as a country and some people like to equate both parties as some version of the same club. Go and look how one side of the house votes vs the other and make up your own opinion.
