A 6-7 guy, who weighed maybe 215, tied the NBA finals record for offensive rebounds. Think about that for a minute. He routinely outplayed guys like Kemp, Shaq and Malone, who towered over him. The guy wasn't just a hard worker, he was a master of psychology. He got in guys' heads, made them take stupid fouls, and by the fourth quarter they were just f---ed. If I'm making my dream team, Rodman's on it, flaky behavior and all, because he gets my other guys a dozen extra possessions a game easy.

You will never find an under-sized man that dominates the board like Dennis Rodman, he is super special kind.

Rodman should've won MVP of this Finals, but the media voters were not going to let that happen. I say this as a huge Jordan fan.

Any basketball fan that was alive at this time and watched these games should feel lucky. This was perhaps one of the greatest teams in NBA history put together. I'll miss this era. Long live MJ!

Rodman average 7.2 points per game, 14.7 rebounds per game, and had a total of 41 offensive rebounds... nearly 7 OFFENSIVE rebounds per game. He had a total of 88 rebounds in the 6 games.

I was following this game live, it was such a great one! And I definitively agree with your oppinion about Rodman. Of course the others were doing great stuff like usually but Rodman was the key factor of these finals. And in this specific game, he just switched the momentum in the 3rd! Awesome this guy knows how to do everything and can defend on any position!

He’s in the Hall of Fame for a reason. This man singlehandedly affected games without scoring a point. His passion, energy, effort… it was all infectious. He made the Hall of Fame by mastering everything nobody else wanted to do. Never sought his own glory, just played his ass off.

What was great about Rodman, outside of his skills, personality, behavior, etc, was his spirit of the game. He was like a kid who dreamed to play at the biggest stage and delivered. Rodman also never went far with his acts vs opposing players(Kemp, Schrempf). He was smart not to be taken out of the game with a fight. Even though many(media) considered him different from other role models or labeled him strange, he was still fun to watch.

I loved the matchup between Rodman and Kemp in this series. Neither MJ nor Pip had a great series but Rodman and Kemp were both in their prime and were both on fire. This video is about Rodman's highlights but Kemp had a lot too. Kemp had the most ferocious dunks but Rodman doesn't quit and made the difference for Chicago.
