Dennis probably says there’s no promises until he sees the car in person. These cars have sat for decades. I’m sure there are bunches of cars that don’t make the cut or shown on the channel.

Sitting in my car with the A/C on! It's 93 degrees in the shade in Indianapolis. One more 8 hr day at work. New job is working and so is second shift. No traffic either way. 3:00pm to 11:00 pm. Love the Coffee Walk videos. Keep em' coming Dennis and crew. Shawn

Yes. Spent lots of days in Indy: all kinds Pharmacy stuff for some 40 years, etc….( from WARSAW 69 years, etc. ), to HELENA Valley MT & not really miss humidity, heat….

@shawnbeck2303,. Ohio and Indiana actually have an advisory for air quality asking drivers not to drive alone. Not mandatory, refuel after eight PM. Stay safe. Should move out overnight mid eighties tomorrow Sunday.

I don't mind the color changes at all. This is never going to be a stock restoration. I can't agree with the decision to put in the automatic transmission. There will never be enough big block 4 speed cars in my opinion.

Granted, the 4-speed would be the purist's ideal, for me the automatic would be best due to knee issues that preclude my ability to fully use the clutch. That said, the automatic widens the potential buyer range to include those with similar issues to mine.

Reminds me of Switzerland: Restaurants are always closed. You cannot eat before 11.30 or after 2pm. Then the kitchen is closing early in the evening. And many restaurants are closed two days per week!

Dennis, check the angle of the gas line as it comes off the frame up front. It is supposed to be different than a SB. Also, the rear diff u-joints have caps, not the horseshoe type. It is odd to have 3:08 with the 390, but strange things did come down the assembly line.

I know "LS swap" is a dirty word these days but I think that would be perfect. LS engine with 350 or so horsepower and T-5 transmission would be a great driver combination.

Indeed it would. I grew up with my dad having a 1960 fuel injection Corvette. Man I loved that car. I used to sit in it when I was a kid pretending I was on the prowl. I did get to drive it a bit but of course, he sold it when I was 16. Last I heard, the car was in Germany. They only made 600 of the fuelies that year. Man I loved that car. 🙂

Great episode Dennis and crew. It’s not nearly as important as the Corvette, but I’ve gotta ask; what in the world do you guys do with all the leftovers? You never come out with doggy bags, or at least almost never, but you had a full-on pizza buffet there! Maybe the kitchen crew gets a feast 😁. Anyway, I hope we get a follow up episode to show what ends up happening with this Vette.

As someone else mentioned, it gets me that when the people selling these vehicles know it sold and being picked up that they don't have all the parts together and ready to go .
