For key light or middle between warm and cool light? And what white balance for correctly grading "golden hour" footage? 2700-3200 or day light? Sorry for my english🤦♂️

Dude if you're going to make a video about this camera's settings, the least you could do is look up what the ones that you don't know are. It would take you like 10 minutes and you wouldn't look like you don't know what you're talking about in your own video.

Hi Dennis ! First of all, thank you for this nice informative video. Even though I am a Sony A6500 user, Record Settings does not show 24p 50M, I can do 25p 50M.So I can't change S&Q Settings either.When I set the record settings to 25p 50M, I can set the Frame Rate to 50fps and the record settings to 25p in S&Q Settings.So I can't do 60fps and 30p like yours.what do you think i should do ? I'm glad if you can help Best regards
@zeenakaofficialchannel4954 Жыл бұрын
That's the PAL standard. You should use 25/50/100 in Europe, as otherwise you get flashing lights. Look up NTSC and PAL framerates.

hi..great advice,..can i ask what pp you use in 1080p ?what do you do on soft footage of a6500?i cant mix my 1080p on 4k because they look too soft ..thanks..more power to your channel
@boomboombaby9140 Жыл бұрын
At 1080p 60fps instead of 125 push you shutter speed to 250 it will kill your motion blur but it will give you 1080p close to the quality of 4k .

Dennis, I'm looking for a wide-angle lens for my Sony a6500 to shoot videos in the gym for my business. Primarily, I'm interested in a lens that will allow me to have the tripod close to me while capturing my entire body in the frame. I wouldn't mind having a lens that can blur the people behind me so they aren't visible in the videos I upload to my app and social media platforms. I have been shooting my videos in the last year with the new iPhone 12 Pro Max. The quality is excellent, but as you know, I have to set the tripod far from me because the wide-angle lens on iPhone doesn't give me the same crips and high-quality image I get from the standard lens. I have been searching on KZfaq for videos of folks talking about the best lens for the setting I'm interested in, but I cannot find anything. Most people talk about pictures and videos taken outside. I thank you in advance for your input.

hey dennis, when shooting in 120fps and s log, i sometimes have to raise my iso to like 8,000 - 10,000 to get the exposure to 2.0. do you recommend just filming in 1/125 and resorting to raising iso last? just trying to find ways to lessen the noise int he footage for slow motion footage, any advice id appreciate it brotha

In lowlight shoot 60fps and 1/125th. Raise iso to no more 5,000. Also lighting your subject will help a lot!
