Cindy Kaza discusses her origins as an intuitive and psychic-medium, and her new episodes co-starring on Travel Channel’s The Dead Files.
Psychic Medium Cindy Kaza is one of the busiest women in paranormal television, having appeared on The Holzer Files, Ghosts of Devil’s Perch, Fright Club, Conjuring Kesha, and a lot of Travel Channel “Shock Docs.” Now, picking up where the Season 15 left off, Cindy Kaza joins former NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi as lead investigator for seven all-new episodes of The Dead Files. The two team up to help solve more incidents of devastating paranormal activity for beleaguered homeowners when The Dead Files returns Thursday, September 7, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on The Travel Channel, and same day on the MAX streaming service.
In her conversation with host Aaron Sagers, Kaza talks about her background as an intuitive, and how she pursued training. She also opens up about the shocking things she’s seen, and the balance of being delicate with clients versus sharing every gory detail. Additionally, she reveals what it’s like bringing her gifts to TV, and even to comedy clubs…

I am so glad to hear the The Dead Files is going to continue!! It is my most favorite show and I have been fascinated by Amy Allen. I think teaming up a detective and a medium makes a powerful team. Thank you so much, Cindy, for stepping up to continue the show. I enjoyed watching you on the Holzer Files and am just as fascinated by what you are able to tap into. I would love to see an exploration of the paranormal knowledge, beliefs and spiritual views form other cultural perspective, that would be very amazing, Cindy. Aaron, thank you so much for having Cindy on to talk more about her world❣️Great show!!!

@@lorrainepaz4834 I haven’t heard specifically from Amy Allen. I have heard Steve D. say she was needing a break from the show and that is why Cindy stepped in. I have read things from Amy describing how doing these walks can be very draining for her and I have heard other mediums say similar things. I miss Amy but I can completely understand that a break is in order after 15 seasons!!

So glad I found this channel! Love the Dead Files, as much as I will miss Amy I am so glad she is taking some time to care for herself. Cindy Kaza is the perfect fit for the show and I love Steve! He is an amazing man, being a NY homicide detective for 30 yrs, it is so wonderful how he is so compassionate and caring for these families. Heaven knows he saw and dealt with so much death and horrible people throughout his career in law enforcement.❤️❤️❤️

A recent Q&A with Amy Allen she stated that before she started Dead Files, she had been offered similar shows many times. Most went for the sensationalism and not actually in anything credible or with integrity. The producers of The Dead Files were the only ones wanting to do things RIGHT. Amy cared much about the show, so for her to hand pick Cindy as her replacement speaks volumes. Can't wait to see Cindy in these new episodes. So glad the show will continue despite how we all will miss Amy.

Right?!? It’s not supposed to be about flashing lights and evp A lot of shows that claim to want to help, stir up stuff to get good tv. Dead files are clinical and don’t provoke.

I have watched DF from the beginning when you could only purchase episodes, lol. I remember what a complete non-believer SteveC was and it was fun over the years to watch him turn around. With that said, I know each episode especially the rough ones would take Amy alot to recover from as was mentioned in several episodes. I don't blame her after 15 years of needing a break and I know some delays on shows bc of it. As Cindy said it's very stressfull on camera all the way around wo having to deal with very bad dark entities. So cudo's to Amy to listen to herself and what she may need. Cindy is a great choice to step into her shoes and a great opportunity for her with an established show. I love the format and feel it is something that can continue. I am a psychic empath myself. I totally relate to how Cindy came into her abilities. My mom was very psychic, but would never talk about it. She would say something, it would come true, then when you would call her out on it, would deny she said it ect. I loved when the orig Ghost Hunters came out!! I was like ok here we now have science to back us up!!! But was dismayed that they were not open to psychic mediumship to help and enhance an investigation. In fact they considered psychics to be charlatans just bc what they did could not be seen. Sorry I'm wordy, but what I'm getting at is Dead Files brought mediumship back into the light and showed with the format that mediums can be believed and trusted and enhance and advance an investigation not hinder it. And for that I'll be forever thankful and hope this show continues for however long it will run.

@@TheAislynnRose hey there, take this for what it’s worth. its not normal to have psychic abilities. It’s actually a curse not a blessing. In your case, a generational curse. The curse proceeds thru mostly down the feminine line and will trace back to witchcraft and un-repented sin. In other words, you have a demonic attachment and require deliverance. If you don’t it will continue to proceed throughout your generations. If it were a blessing, Amy wouldn’t be so miserable between episodes and require herself to quit. I know it’s the “in” thing now. But do understand your situation. There’s nothing new under the sun. Every psychic that has ever been, received their power thru witchcraft, either themselves doing or it was passed thru the generations. Exodus 34:7 - Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. Im not judging so there’s no need to respond to me, I just thought it was necessary to mention in case you didn’t know.

I could not imagine a better person to pick up the baton and carry the torch. Everyone who works on the show can actually give people answers and offer solutions. It is refreshing from the norm of just trying to capture activity. So happy the show is going to continue and I look forward to watching the journey.

One of the questions I would have loved to ask is about aftermath with DFs. I was so happy when the show started showing what happens after Amy and Steve leave. I know Amy had a whole network of people who could help the people she was reading from Wicca, Shamans, mediums, warlocks all levels if needed to help to implement her diagnosis, will Cindy have the same access to this kind of out-reach?

I agree. It was sad to read the very superficial posts below that trash Cindy's stylish clothing and appearance. They seem not to have seen the early seasons of Dead Files where a very young Amy Allan was a Goth Chick and super stylish. So what? Why should a gifted medium suppress their fashion sense in order to please viewers? It's really nuts and super superficial to me....?

I completely agree! Not everything negative is demonic. Imagine if someone came into your home and started shouting at you and ordering you around; I doubt you'd be too pleased about the situation. Spirits used to be people with emotions and attitudes. You don't lose that when you die. Also, if you were a mean person in life, you don't miraculously change to sweetness and light when you die. Angry does not equate demonic.
@Widdershins3
@Widdershins3 8 ай бұрын
When I think back over my long life and all of the very difficult and disordered people I've had to learn to interact with, it made it very clear to me that a lot of the people screaming "Demon!" in nasty hauntings aren't taking into account or understanding how many human beings are mean and even cruel to other people. And many stay that way when they pass over.

So then my abilities really grew. I’d love to do it as a profession once I get through some hurdles. I’d also love to chat with Cindy as I also don’t feel like I fit in anywhere. So jealous that you have got to study Asian paranormal culture from the real deal. Can't wait to catch you on Dead Files.

I am half of a Twin Flame connection. This is very rare and very real. In fact, I was told about it during a near death experience. I was given very rare access to the Akashic Records, so I am going to blow this idea that you only live once and that all timelines are occurring at once out of the water. I was given access to who I was in multiple pastlives with my counterpart. This serves a purpose in helping us reflect on the lessons we were doomed to repeat because we didn't learn it so we can Ascend beyond this plane of existence. I am curious what your take on this is? I am still learning as we all are, but I believe there are different types of reincarnation. Some of us are multidimensional, no doubt, but there are timelines we left behind. We are Eternal Souls, but these bodies we wear are just a character we play for a time. This life is just a story we act out, but it isn't our true identity. I call it Soul School

Yes, I have heard Amy speak of this too. She said that certain aspects of the soul are the ones that need help. This is why there was a dangerous man once that was still alive in a prison haunting a woman. This was a long time ago in the Dead Files on the earlier episodes.

I don't care what anybody says.... replacing Amy with a leopard and leather wearing, pretentious woman who declares death is lurking in every corner is a good way to end it quickly. I won't be watching it again.
