I just can't get enough of this scene. "Its a love story." Ooohh I am crying. Deeks slept just listening to Kensi's voice. It means he feels safe with her. That is so cute!

He finally feels safe and he eats and sleeps for the first time just from the sight of her and the sound of her voice. He answers the other guys question as he falls asleep

It's a sign of the PTSD Deeks had when you see how messy his apartment is. The guy is nuts about cleanliness.

Anyone else got the thought that when Deeks said "It's a love story" he was actually responding to Nate's question on the beach as to what the difference in their partnership is opposed to the others? No? Just me? Okay, I'll just be here in my Densi bubble then.

I think the most significant thing about this scene is that earlier in the episode he said that he couldn't sleep and then her just feel asleep to Kensi's voice. I thought that was soooo sweet.

When Deeks says "It's a love story" he's answering the question Nate made him about his relationship with Kensi. Nate asked: What is special in your relationship that makes it different from the other? And that's Deeks' answer.

Deeks: "it's a love story" Me: *squeals uncontrollably*

I love the foreshadowing in this scene 1. Kensi casually taking off her shoes. Showing there comfortable around each other 2. When deeks says those monkeys are scary. I think he's talking about the men who tortured him and basically traumatized him 3. I don't believe kensi knew deeks hasn't slept or been taking good care of himself but she still had a gut feeling to go see if he wanted anything and spent time with him and shorten his life with his favourite food 4. Deeks finally fell asleep to kensi taking which shows he felt safe with her and let his guard down 5. When he says it's a love story nor was he answering hates question or kensi's he was answering both of theirs he was saying that next thing for deeks and kensi was love and telling mate what their partnership really was without answering either question I guess you could say he was also answering his own question 6. When deeks goes is that yummy yummy heart attack showed they had a nickname for this certain restaurant bec8ase they both liked it showing how they spent time together outside of the job which guess is normal bit just how they joked after shows mutual trust and agreement in how good the food but how bad it was for them

You can see how much they love each other just by the way they look at one another. They’re fantastic actors!!

I love all of the NCIS series but each in a different way, I love NCIS LA because of scenes exactly like this that strike you right in your human core, so strong, and so beautifully acted & written.

This is the best Densi scene in the series. To feel safe and comfortable with someone is the best feeling in the world. I wonder if the line "Those monkeys are scary" was improvised-so cute!

its really sweet of her to check up on him like that to make sure that he is okay after what happened to him.... I'm just glad that he didn't shut her out, even thou he could of did so, but he didn't he let her in his home, to eat and hang out a bit.... I understand that what happened to him scared the s*** out of him and him feel insecure, but in reality I believe it made him stronger, because yes those SOB's that did that to Sam and Deeks may have had the upper hand in the beginning, but not anymore, because it made both Sam and Deeks stronger, in their work ethic.... like Kelly Clarkson says (what doesn't kill you makes you stronger)

Maybe the best thing about this scene is that the improvised some of the dialog.

As I rewatch I wonder does she know he hasn't been sleeping/eating or whatever you know...and also does anyone else notice how comfortable she is over his house she just went over and took off her shoes lol..

This is one of my all time favorite scenes with these two. I really wish they'd have some more of Deeks' background in the show. First he had a brother, then he was an only child, for instance. He can play the violin and the guitar. It'd be a fun episode to see him have to get musical for a case.

I think that it's kind of nice to have someone that cares about you and that won't let you down even if your not the right person for them, and I also think that the part where she makes him fall asleep is cute cause he hasn't been able to sleep for a while and he was trying to go to sleep and she helped him with that and you know that would make me feel like I had someone to believe in that I could actually trust. That part makes me so happy and it gives me this overcoming feeling that everything's going to be A-okay with them being like that. They are an amazing couple and I think that they personally picked the perfect people for that job!!!!! So big shoutouts to Daniela Ruah and Wric Christan Olsen!!!!!! Nice job you guys!!!!!!!😙😚❤🏁🎁😌

The one ingredient that makes Kensi and Deeks partnership different then Sam and G partnership is LOVE :) They are so cute together. The compliment each other in their strengths and weaknesses.
