What is the side length of a cube? Is it 50 mm?

@@maha1213 the samples that i used in this test was 100×100×100, but it can be in any shape, as long as the weight of the sample for normal concrete is higher than 800 grams.

Is it possible for me to know that the cube consists of mortar or concrete and according to any specification the mixing process took place? Can I use the mortar to which supplementary cement materials have been added according to ASTM C109 for this test?

Is the curing age of the specimen important? How many days of curing did the samples you used have?

@@Kei1youtube hello there, well my samples was cured for 28 days, In case of avoiding any abnormalities, I suggest to cure it at least for 7 days.

Hello, I made an instance at the end of the video, pls go and check it. By the way, there is no apparent mass, there is apparent density wich I wrote the formula, and I describe every elements in regard at the top ot table.

@@sks126jntu it might be a little hard for you to perform it, for instance you must have bigger pot to boil the water with specimens inside, other way, sure, go for it.

It's really a nice video. May I ask you about the purposes of the third (put the sample in the boiling water) and the fourth (put it again in the water for a moment) step here? thank you so much for your kind attention.

Thank you, I am happy that it been helpful. After the boiling step I just let the samples to cool off and then measured the mass inside the water, I didn't put it again into water for a moment. I must add that, this is according to the ASTM standard and based on Archimedes principle.
