Not real. I don't really think it's fair to judge him for something he had literally no way of knowing about (nor did he have any reason to suspect it) and treat him like he thought of himself as a tyrannical god. Informing him that what he's doing is bringing real harm to genuine, sentient beings and establish to him that it's NOT just a game is one thing. But he should only be truly punished if he continues on with his ways AFTER he's learned they're actually alive.

I'm pretty sure the movie is going to be all the videos from this series edited into one big video with maybe an extra scene at the end, that's how these independent KZfaq series usually go anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
