@@MrBiomedical Thank you for your reply! For Educational only purpose I want to share! There's a bolt 🔩 into/ through the rotation axis (that when it is screwing, the back caming up) which when you screwing it clockwise/unclockwise the range of rotation axis changes. Cheers Bro❤️👍

Maybe it is wiring problem or motor issue. Pls interchange the pins to another motor and check

Good to hear those words. Thank u so much. The answer is simple. First i checked every components and it was fine. Then there is two IC's. One is regular IC which we can get it in local market, another one is programmable, which we only get it in the manufacturers. First i changed regular IC, but still complaint didnt rectified. So i guessed the problem will be in programmable IC.

Did u check the transformer output is stable?

@@MrBiomedical i'll ask my technician. So it's like a electrical output problem? Sorry I'm a dentist and I have no idea about my units electrical, though I can do simple replacement of air and water hoses but that's it.

Check foot switch, panel switch, connections, check whether the input is coming to the control board

What complaint you are facing?

@@MrBiomedical Thanks for the reply, But only the foot control is functional, The foot control has a stick for up, down, back ,front movement, ,The tray keypad has been disconnected long back.

There are few possibilities: 1. Check suction tube. If any damage there, it may not work sometimes. 2. Inside of that suction handle, there will be a switch to trigger the motor, pls check its working or not. 3. Check the vaccum pump, there will be a capacitor. Pls check whether that capacitor bulged or damaged👍🏻 These are the conditions. If none of this working check the board.

I like the way you are questioning. Really appreciate that. The thing is, whenever you are about to do the board level repair, you have to aware of visual inspection. If none of those components damaged, you can go with DMM. And the basic thing you have to know is, u should know about diodes, caps, resistors, bridge rectifier, transistor. Then u should know how to test it with DMM. What i mentioned in video is like that only, i've checked some components(random) and it was in good condition. For the video purpose, i trimmed that clip. Then coming to the IC. There is only 3 IC's. Two IC's we can get from local shops. Then there is a programmable IC(which i confirmed it with that electronic shop manager). I already changed one IC, but that complaint didnt solved. So i personally asked one engineer who is working for that company and arranged that programmable IC. After changed that IC, it worked. Thats it. There is no risk because this is just a single layer board.

You can do that with multimeter, but you should know how to read datasheet. If you know it, you can easily check the IC

Thing is simple. You can buy IC and program urself with another working chair's IC. But you need that kit

@@MrBiomedical yes. Where I work, we would suggest replacing the entire board to avoid any mishaps down the road if it was cause by another issue that was not evident. Component level repair is good to know but not so practical now. I do applaud you for being able to repair it the way you did. I just worry that component level repairs may be a short term fix in some situations.
