@@StevensonDentalSolutions I do have one question also. When working on live people the water spray restricts my view in the mirror to the point that nothing can be seen. How do you deal with that while maintaining the things said in the video?
@StevensonDentalSolutions
@StevensonDentalSolutions 4 жыл бұрын
Keep the water spray controlled - often it is way too high. Also, try moving the mirror a bit further a way. A dental assistant helps but this isn't always possible. Cut a little, the look, then cut a little then look. After a while, "you will see through the spray" like a Jedi Knight!

@@StevensonDentalSolutions Well I hope the force will get stronger with me! 😀 Can I suggest content? Maybe some more guides, tips and tricks in endodontics, full/partial dentures,tooth beared overdentures, impressions etc? But these ergonomics and basics are great cause seems to me not many people talk about it. Btw my first ceramic onlay turned out great thanks to your onlay video!

Thank you for that great information, I'm a dentistry student from Brazil, sorry about my english, but have a little question about the indirect vision. Well, when the water and the patient breath mess up the mirror its so hard to see, what i can do to revert that and have to more clean vision?

Great video! I just have one question, Could you explain "line of draw" please?
@StevensonDentalSolutions
@StevensonDentalSolutions 4 жыл бұрын
The imaginary line that sets the reference point of your bur - typically a tapered bur is made parallel to this line to created uniform taper with the axial walls. It represents the geometric center of all tapered walls in the final preparation. The line of draw should be carefully determined and planned prior to preparation in order to minimize tooth removal, maximize retention and esthetics.
