Good Morning... My wife is a Dental nurse in sharjah, UAE for the past 12years. She is a GNM nurse pass out on 2002. She didn't done any course for dental nurse. When she came here in sharjah she joined in a dental clinic and still continuing as dental nurse. How can she apply for uk dental nurse and how can she apply for GDC from sharjah. We tried our level best to apply for GDC in online but we failed. Can you please help us what should we do for this issue.

Yes all need to get registered. But if you have done dentistry from a country whose degree is recognised then no exam required. Just a document submission process. Check out the GDC UK website.

Many visas get rejected for students have a BDS degree and applying for assistant program. You can apply for PR program directly or can also given ndeb exams directly.

When you are studying in UK you are allowed to work part time till a maximum 20 hrs per week. So yes it is possible. But after doing MSc there you can't work as a dentist till your ORE is cleared. Reason your BDS degree is not valid.

Sorry didn't understand what you meant. If one person is a dependent himself he can't have anyone accompanying him. Second after pg in clinical you can't stay since you can't get a job till you clear ORE..

For working as a dentist kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iZ99nJB1mb2mg4U.html they have made it tough due to nationalisation. For an assistant I don't think any experience needed. But getting a visa might be difficult. If you are going in a dependent visa then might not be a problem.

@@blessyjoseph1921 hi blessy.. i had a talk with my agent ... bcz i was also afraid of the same thing but dey said that nowadays sop don't takes place.. we just have to send them a letter of explanation.. so if we make that letter of explanation strong enough then they wont reject the visa.. you just have to show them that you will come back to india after this course...

The UK route of this has been stopped since March this year. In Canada if you have PR you can try this route. The clinic won't pay for your visa.

Yes can. Unless they specifically write not allowed in her visa. Used to happen rarely.. check other comments below to understand that. But that is rare. So most cases spouse can work..

He is giving some wrong information here. You can work as dentist or dental hygienist in private or NHS clinic since it's not necessarily a training post.

Hi I didn't state training is needed 🤔.. after BDS just submit documents and you can work as a hygienist. But after BDS in India you can't work as a dentist in UK. You need to clear exams.

To practice as a dental assistant you don't need any course.. so you can't take that route.. you can directly try for PR..

Because they feel as a dentist why would you a grade lower. It means you are using the course just to get inside the system. So they reject.

Only after you do your internship you get the degree right? Don't know about the process in Pakistan. Check the website of GDC UK. They have list of documents if you have those you can apply.

Highly variable. No such right answer. Job as MDS starts from senior lecturer. How long will it take to get promoted to professor is what you need to consider. It also depends on college.

Clearing exam not compulsory for getting a job. Even after BDS from India you can get a job. The main advantage of exam means you are registered so you can get a higher salary.

I don't think you can do masters there directly. You have to get yourself licensed first by DDS route or licensure exams.

Hi most times the clinic won't sponsor. So you have to be on spouse visa family visa for UK or in Canada PR..

You have to decide what you want. Clinical or non clinical. If clinical you have to clear NDEB exams. We have a video explaining it.

If you want to work here in Canada, none of your native degrees will matter. You might be allowed to work if and only if you get your diploma or degree from Canada itself.

@@rayapudiajay1018 I’m not sure how it works in UK, but in Canada even though you are fully accredited as a dentist in another country, you still have to apply to college of dental hygiene and get properly certified to work as a dental hygienist in Canada. This may entail having to complete an entire program before becoming a licensed dental hygienist.

Anyone can but clinic should hire. They prefer those who have dental knowledge so select those who have completed assistant courses in Canada or some dental background.

Jobs are not much of an issue if you are willing to go to the outskirts. But first you have to get your PR. No clinic will pay for your residency. Once you get a PR there are opportunities.

Hi sirr!!!Thanks for ur informative video🤩. If i reached U. K in tier 4 visa (as a part of any masters program there like mph).. Am i having any preference in registering GDC rather than moving an application from india. Pardon me for not mentioning about my degree in the first place. I am a bds graduate with 6months clinical experience. Planning to move to uk for doing MPH.

Hi there is no such preference. You can apply and mostly will get permission to practice as a hygienist or assistant.

Easy to get registration in UK for Hygienist in UK 🇬🇧. But never get visa to work. So better save money

Sponsor will get your work visa if you are earning a lot for him. So for dentists it is easy to get a work visa. Not for a hygienist post.
