If you are a foreign dentist and want to become dentists in the USA, you probably asked yourself "what is the difference between CAAPID application and PASS application?".
If you're already familiar with the dental school application process, you know that most schools in the USA use the centralized application system through the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
Choosing which of these processes to enter will depend on which type of program you are applying to.
Basically, the CAAPID system works for Advanced Standing Programs, or International Dental Programs (IDP), but if you are a foreign dentist and want to do dental specialty training or a Grad Program, the PASS application system works for you. Keep in mind that some programs are independent from CAAPID and PASS and you have to apply directly!
